MERAKI (Shamaz Shareef) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Rakesh was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in One Mock Race on a Race day on the race track.

Jockey Angad, the rider of COUNTRY’S PACE was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting out and taking out TOWER QUEST (Nazerul Alam) on his outside which in turn passed it onto WAR SONG (P Kiran Rai) rounding the final bend.

An objection was lodged by Jockey Likith Appu K G, the rider of SUNSHINE COAST, placed Second by the Judge against Jockey Koshi Kumar, the rider of DALHOUSIE placed First for, “Inside the final 200 Metres, DALHOUSIE drifted out and took my ground, my filly being the first run was full of running and also bumped me, which cost me a certain race”.

The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the Race and examined the Jockeys concerned. After due deliberations and after repeatedly watching the CCTV replay of the Race, the Stewards decided to Overrule the objection.

It was reported after the race that MOUNTAIN TRAIL (Mukesh Kumar) pulled up lame on right hind. Trainer Mr. Monnappa C D was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

It was reported after the race that MIGHTY PRINCE (L Alex Rozario) pulled up lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. Helleal Moses was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of TOWER QUEST, trained by Mr. G T Surender and ridden by Jockey Nazerul Alam in the above race.
