As Jockey Arshad Alam, the declared rider of GRAND CHEVALIER tested positive during “Alcohol testing for riders” and was not permitted to ride, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar to substitute Jockey Vivek G to ride GRAND CHEVALIER in place of the declared rider.

POWER PORT (Nazar Alam) planted and lost many lengths at the start, ran detached from the field thereafter and completely stopped galloping after passing the 300 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Pratap Kamath M was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in One Mock Race on a Race day on the race track.

On a written complaint lodged by Trainer Mr. Vinesh, an enquiry is being held into the manner of riding of Jockey K Sai Kiran, on his mount THEA’S GIFT, in the above Race.
