It was observed that COUNTRY’S LIGHT (Siddaraju P) was hanging `out’ rounding the final bend. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported; However, Trainer Mr. Joseph B Awale was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

It was observed that D DON KING (V R Jagdeesh) was hanging `in’ at the start. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported; However, Trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

It was observed that D ROMANCE (M Rajesh Kumar) was hanging `out’ throughout the Race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported; However, Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Trainer Mr. P C Tejaswi was questioned as to the improved performance of his charge, LEOPARD (Angad), the winner of the above Race, as compared to its previous run in Race No. 60 of the Betway Mysore (Monsoon) Races 2023 where it was withdrawn and prior to that in Race No. 10 of the Betway Mysore (Monsoon) Races 2023, run on Second Day, Thursday, 7th September, 2023, when ridden by Jockey Mohammed Mushraf, it ran unplaced. The Trainer stated as follows;
a) The horse had a bad habit of veering out soon after the Start. After its run in Race No. 10, to correct its behavior at the Start, he had given his charge adequate gate practice and one Mock Race on 29th September, 2023, where it had finished very close to PRICELESS GOLD;
b) In its previous run, his charge was withdrawn because it had suffered an infection to its right eye;
c) He had fancied its charge to run well in Race No. 60, but unfortunately his charge had picked up the infection to its right eye and hence was withdrawn;
d) In the above Race, he had fancied its chances, his charge ran a good Race and won the Race. While noting his explanations for future references, he was informed to desist from running his charges in this manner and that a similar manner of running of his charges in future would entail him being reported to the Stewards for appropriate action.
