Jockey M Naveen, the rider of IRON CLAD, placed Second by the Judge, lodged an objection against Jockey Shreyas Singh, the rider of HAVELOCK CRUISE, placed First by the Judge, for “Approaching final 200 metres he came to me whipped on to my right hand, for which my horse shied away and lost momentum for which it cost me certain win”. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the Race and examined the Jockeys concerned; After deliberations and after repeatedly viewing the CCTV replay of the above Race, they decided to uphold the objection lodged by Jockey M Naveen, the rider of  IRON CLAD, against Jockey Shreyas Singh, the rider of HAVELOCK CRUISE  and revised the order of placings as under:

Jockey Shreyas Singh, the rider of HAVELOCK CRUISE, was fined Rs.5,000/- for shifting out and taking out IRON CLAD (M Naveen) on his outside, between the 200 Metres and the last 50 Metres of the above Race and also for whipping Jockey M Naveen, the rider of IRON

It was reported after the Race that FUN AND LAUGHTER (Rahil Akhtar) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Aditya K was informed that he should produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before he accepts with it again..
