Racing Incidents

Permission was granted to Trainer P.Krishna to saddle ROMANTIC KNIGHT (Azad Alam) on behalf of Trainer Akbar Malick at both Trainers risk and liability.

Permission was also granted to Trainer M.M.Uthaiah to saddle EL POLITICO (Muzaffar Alam) on behalf of Trainer Raza Shehzad at both Trainers risk and liability.

DARING DANCER (Md.Asif Khan) and POPPY (Ayaz Khan) were permitted to be withdrawn due to non availability of replacement Jockeys.
ROMANTIC KNIGHT (Azad Alam) was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under the Starter’s orders, trotting lame on right hind. Trainer P.Krishna deputising for Trainer Akbar Malick was asked to get the gelding certified fit by the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

CHAITANYA (C.P.Khanal) was slow to start losing about 4 lengths and thereafter jumped awkwardly inwards. Trainer K.S.Mandanna was asked to show his charge at the gates to the satisfaction of the Starter before accepting with it again.

EL POLITICO (Muzaffar Alam) drifted out on to the outer sand track despite jockey’s efforts from the 950 metres to the 750 metres. Trainer M.M.Uthaiah deputising for Trainer Raza Shehzad was asked to take remedial measures before accepting with the gelding again.

ELEGANCE MINE (C.Umesh) was observed to hang out in the straight under pressure. Trainer G.S.Parmar was asked to take remedial measures before accepting with it again.
