Racing Incidents

VELOCITY (R.Rupesh) jumped awkwardly onto DEAN'S GREY (Indrajeet Kumar).

Jockey Rahul H, the rider of DREAM RUN and Trainer M.M.UTHAIAH were questioned regarding the long lead taken by the Jockey passing the 1200 meters till entering the straight. Jockey stated that his instructions were to sit 3rd or 4th, however his mount took a good jump and he positioned himself with the front runner, however dropped back in the final stages of the race. When questioned Trainer stated that he had not given specific instructions but had asked the jockey to sit close 2nd or 3rd. Both Trainer and Jockey were severely cautioned. Jockey for taking a long lead whereby his mount dropped back passing the 250 meters. Trainer, for not giving specific instructions to the Jockey.

The Club's Veterinary Officer reported that UP AND AT THEM (C Umesh) was found to have laryngeal paralysis (ILH Gr4) during endoscopic examination.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner SYMPHONY IN STYLE (P.Sai Kumar).
