Racing Incidents

Jockey Ashhad Asbar, the rider of GLORIOUS LEGEND reported that his mount was hanging in severely and could not be ridden out.Trainer Fahad Khan was informed not to accept with his charge until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a mock race on the race track on a race day.The Club's Veterinary Officer when asked to examine the gelding reported after the race that no abnormalities were found.
 
An Objection was lodged by Jockey C Umesh, the rider of MAJESTIC CHARMER placed 5th by the judge against Jockey Khet Singh, the rider of SEA SCRIPT placed 3rd by the judge for "In the last 250 metres he  took me out gradually  and at 200  metres he bumped  me due  to which  my horse shifted  out on the sand track due to this I lost a certain place".The Stewards interviewed both the jockeys and after viewing the cctv replay of the race several times decided to uphold the objection and revised the order of placings as under :-

No    6    REGAL KID    (Koshi Kumar)    -    3rd
No 4        MAJESTIC CHARMER    (C Umesh)    -    4th
No 1    SEA SCRIPT    (Khet Singh)    -    5th

Further Jockey Khet Singh, the rider of SEA SCRIPT was fined a sum of Rs 3000/-. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner BIG TREASURE (S.A.Amit).

GLORIOUS LEGEND (Ashhad Asbar)Fly jumped awkwardly and lost about a length. ICY RIVER (P.S.Kaviraj) Lost about a couple of lengths.
