Racing Incidents

Permission was granted to Trainer Saddam Iqbal to declare Jockey Mohit Singh, to ride PERFECT BLEND in place of Jockey S.A.Amit who was indisposed.

GOLDEN WARRIOR (YashNarredu) was slowly off.

An Objection was lodged by Jockey Akshay Kumar, the rider of KNOTTY CHARMER placed 2nd by the Judge against Jockey C Umesh, the rider of TIME AND TIDE placed 1st by the Judge for" In the last 100meters,my horse was full of running,Jockey C.Umesh came out sharply whereby I had to stop riding,which cost me a certain race." The Stewards interviewed both the jockeys and after viewing the CCTV replay of the race decided to overule the objection with no change in the order of placings as declared by the Judge.Further Jockey,C Umesh, was fined a sum of Rs 2000/- for shifting out passing the 100 metres causing a check to KNOTTY CHARMER (Akshay Kumar) ,who was travelling directly behind and had to shift in.

Compulsory samples were taken for analysis from TIME AND TIDE (C Umesh) the winner,KNOTTY CHARMER (Akshay Kumar) placed II GOLDEN WARRIOR (YashNarredu) placed III.
