Racing Incidents

WAKANDA (Dharshan Antony) had sustained injury on Left hind fetlock and was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Trainer K. S. Mandanna was informed to get his charge certified fit by the Club's Veterinary Officer before next accepting with it.

Permission was granted to Trainer P.Krishna to deputise on behalf of Trainer Dr.Anil Kumar for EAGLE BLUFF (A Ayaz Khan) at both trainer's risk and liability.

Jockey Ashhad Asbar, the rider of SPEED AIR reported that his mount was slowly off at the start and stumbled at 800 meters while negotiating the bend. The Club's Veterinary Officer when asked to examine the gelding reported after the race that no abnormalities were found.

Jockey P.S.Kaviraj, the rider of GALLANTRY was fined a sum of Rs 2000/- for shifting out under use of the whip bumping and causing interference to RHIANNON (M.S.Deora) in the final stages of the race

An Objection was lodged by Jockey M.S.Deora, the rider of RHIANNON placed 4th by the Judge against Jockey P.S.Kaviraj, the rider of GALLANTRY placed 3rd by the Judge for "In the straight after passing 200 meters GALLANTRY came in sharply, I got unbalanced and my stride was broken due to which I lost a certain race". The Stewards interviewed both the Jockeys and after viewing the CCTV replay of the race decided to overule the objection, with no change in the order of placings as declared by the Judge.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner AMBER LIGHTNING (Sah Farid Ansari) .
