Racing Incidents

During the Veterinary examination  conducted  at 8.56  am  on  05/04/2024, ZEN ZERO was observed to be trotting lame on Right fore due to Sprained tendon.Trainer J.Sebastian was informed to get his charge certified fit by the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting next with.

Jockey Sah Farid Ansari, the rider of SARO EAGLE lost  control  of the  reins  passing the 1000 metres negotiating the 1st turn,lost balance and the mare slipped from its hind passing the 800 metres causing a fall and dislodging its rider.

The Club's Veterinary Officer reported after the race that SARO EAGLE was euthanized on humanitarian grounds as she had sustained complete fracture of Right fore cannon bone during the race.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner AIR MARSHALL (K V Baskar).
