ALMAS planted and thereafter swung around as the start was effected, dislodging the rider. The Starting Stall Certificate has been revoked by the Starter. Further, Tr. Vikash Jaiswal has been advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Steward in two mock races.

DUBAI DUNES and PYRGOS were slow to begin losing 3 – 4 lengths at the start. Trs. D M David and Aashay Doctor were advised not to accept with their respective charges until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial.
VINAMRAO jumped outwards bumping into SEPTIMUS SEVERUS.

Jockey Rafique Sk (SEPTIMUS SEVERUS) reported that he lost his right stirrup iron passing the 1100 metres which he regained after a furlong, was noted.

A Stewards enquiry was held immediately after the running of the race, with particular reference to the jump out of SPECULATOR. Having considered the evidence tendered by Jockey P Trevor, the Starters, taking into consideration the recommendation of the Stipendiary Steward and acting on their own observations after repeatedly viewing the CCTV replay of the race, the Stewards were convinced that b h SPECULATOR turned its head to the right within fractions of a second before the start was effected and thereby was slow to begin. The Stewards decided that no further action was required into the incident. Thereafter, “all clear” signal was hoisted.

YAWAR was observed to trail the field and finished the race detached. The Veterinary Officer was requested to examine the gelding and submit his report.

The Veterinary Officer reported that YAWAR and PRIMO VICTORIA returned lame on their left fore and left hind respectively. Trs. Narendra Lagad and Rutherford Alford were informed not to accept with their respective charges until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
