At the request of Trainer S. K. Sunderji, WALTER was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. in the stable area at 12.10 p.m. on 19th October 2023 and was found to be sore by right fore and had swelling on right fore pastern, as such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds and has to be passed fit by Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.
 
TREASURE GOLD (S. Mosin, dr.9) jumped out slowly losing about 2 lengths at the start.
 
At the start, SPIRIT BAY (Neeraj Rawal, dr.4) jumped outwards and made contact with REMY RED (Shrikant Kamble, dr.5) thereafter COMMANDMENT (P. Trevor, 6) shifted in onto REMY RED forcing it inwards onto SPIRIT BAY due to which REMY RED had to be steadied. Jockey P. Trevor has been cautioned.
 
After the race, COMMANDMENT was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.
 
After the race, SPIRIT BAY was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.
 
After the race, SWEET EMOTION was trotted and found to be sound. Further, at the behest of the Stipendiary Stewards, endoscopy was performed on SWEET EMOTION at the Equine Hospital and no abnormality was detected.
 
The Equine Hospital reported that REMY RED was found to have sore left eye with ulcer.

After the race, TRULY EPIC & MAGNETO were trotted and found to be sound.

At the start, DALI SWIRL (App. Haridas Gore, dr.6) jumped inwards at the same time BAY OF BISCAY (Dashrath Singh, dr.5) jumped outwards and they made contact.
 
After the race, App. N. Bhosale (WHATSINANAME) reported that his mount was inclined outwards from the 800 metres, despite his efforts. Trainer Asad Siddiqui has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.
 
After the race, Jockey R. Ajinkya (NELSON RIVER) reported that passing the 600 metres his mount was inclined outwards, despite his efforts. Trainer S. K. Sunderji has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.

The Equine Hospital reported that GINSBURG & MIGHTY THUNDER were found to have sore right eye with ulcer.

At the request of Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha, VINCENT VAN GOGH was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. in the stable area at 10.15 a.m. on 19th October 2023 and was found to be sore by right fore, as such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds and has to be passed fit by Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.
 
BRAVE BEAUTY (App. Haridas Gore, dr.3) jumped out slowly losing about a length at the start.
 
After the race, Jockey Neeraj Rawal (GEOGRAPHIQUE) reported that his mount was inclined outwards in the straight, despite his efforts. Trainer Imtiaz A. Sait has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.
 
After the race, ATAASH was trotted at the stables and found to be sound.

At the start, COUNT OF SAVOY (App. Haridas Gore, dr.4) stumbled and had to be steadied.
 
Passing the 1200 metres, SON OF A GUN (App. Mustakim Alam) stumbled.
 
After the race, FLYING VISIT was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. and was found to be sore by right fore, as such, the gelding has to be passed fit by Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.
 
After the race, SNOWFALL was trotted and found to be sound. Further, at the behest of the Stipendiary Stewards, endoscopy was performed on SNOWFALL at the Equine Hospital and no abnormality was detected.

At the request of Trainer Narendra Lagad, WILD HAMMER was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. in the stable area at 09.25 a.m. on 21st October 2023 and was found to be sore by left hind and had swelling on both hind below hock, as such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds and has to be passed fit by Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.
 
JERUSALEM (S. Saqlain, dr.1) planted in the stall and lost considerable ground at the start. In view of the same and a similar behavior of the gelding in his previous start, Trainer M. Narredu has been asked to show his charge in a mock race to the satisfaction of the Starter, before next accepting to race.
 
After the race, Jockey P. Vinod (WILLY WONKAA) reported loss of whip passing the 300 metres. This being his second instance during the current Pune Meeting 2023, he has been fined Rs.2,000/-
 
After the race, CHAGALL & STOLE MY HEART were trotted and found to be sound.
 
The Equine Hospital reported that CHAGALL was found to have sore both eyes with ulcer in left eye, AMBER KNIGHT was found to have sore left eye with ulcer and STOLE MY HEART was found to have sore right eye with ulcer.

On arrival at the starting gate, TOOFAN (Amyn Merchant) was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. and was certified fit to race.
 
ANOUSHKA (S. Saqlain, dr.1) refused to stall despite substantial efforts. As Such, the mare was withdrawn before coming under the Starters order. Trainer Faisal A. Abbas has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the mare to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
 
FARAHNOUSH (S. Mosin, dr.2) planted in the stall taking no practical part in the race. In view of the same and a similar behavior of the mare in her previous starts, Trainer Asad Siddiqui has been asked to show his charge in two mock races to the satisfaction of the Starter, before next accepting to race.
 
Jockey Shrikant Kamble (ZACAPA) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being his 1st offence during the current Pune Meeting 2023, he has been fined Rs.3,000/-.
 
After the race, SILVER STEPS was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. and was found to be sore by left fore, the gelding has to be passed fit by Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.
 
After the race, ZACAPA was trotted and found to be sound.
