At the request of Trainer Rehanullah Khan, SUFIYAH was examined at 1000 hours on 05/03/2021 and found to be suffering from urticaria, as such, the filly was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The Trainer is required to obtain a fitness certificate for the filly from the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
 
AIRA (Bhawani Singh) jumped out tardily losing about a length at the start.
 
Soon after the start, WILLIAM WALLACE (Y.S.Srinath) shifted in and went across AIRA (Bhawani Singh) who was slow to begin. At the same time, SUSSING (S.A.Amit) shifted out and bumped WILLIAM WALLACE (Y.S.Srinath) and thereafter maintained an erratic course thereby inconveniencing WILLIAM WALLACE on more than one occasion. On being questioned after the race, Jockey S.A.Amit stated that his mount was very keen and in an effort to settle the filly, she was erratic. Jockey S.A.Amit has been cautioned.
 
Passing the 200 metres, LITTLE MORE (App.P.S.Kaviraj) weakened and shifted out carrying STREEK ( S.Zervan) outwards.
 
Passing the 100 metres, FENDI (Amyn Merchant) was held up for room and had to be steadied.
 
After the race, WILLIAM WALLACE and STREEK were trotted and found to be sound. WILLIAM WALLACE had a cut injury at the right hind fetlock and GUSTY GIRL had a gum injury.

As the start was given, PHOENIX SPIRIT (Raghuveer Singh) threw its head up and was marginally slow.
 
Soon after the start, DANCE EMPEROR (Amyn Merchant) shifted in and went on to GUARNERIUS (Santosh G.) who was marginally slow to begin.
 
After the race, GUARNERIUS was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
 
After the race, MONK was trotted and found to be sound.

POKERFACE (K.Nazil) jumped out slow losing about a length at the start
 
After the race, Jockey A.Sandesh (GOLDEN GUEST) reported that his mount was lugging out in the straight. Trainer Dallas Todywalla has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the horse.
 
The Sr.V.O. reported that after the race, GOLDEN GUEST was trotted and found to be sound. Subsequently the horse was in distress at the stables at 9.00 p.m. and was treated by the Equine Hospital.

At the request of Trainer Altamaash A.Ahmed,  GUINEVERE was examined at 1030 hours on 06/03/2021 and found to be sore from the right fore leg, as such, the filly was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
 
Soon after the start, FANFARE (R.Ajinkya) who was racing between JUSTIFIED (A.Sandesh) and SOCRATES (P.S.Chouhan), was tightened and had to be steadied.
 
After the race, JUSTIFIED was observed to have a cut injury at the left hind coronet and CABO DA ROCA was found to be sound in the trot.

After being stalled, CIPHER (App.Aniket Karande) started lashing. The mare was taken out and examined by the Club’s Sr.V.O. who certified her fit to race. Trainer Faisal A.Abbas has been asked to give the mare more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
 
GOSHAWK (N.S.Parmar) jumped out slow losing about 2 lengths at the start.
 
Passing the 900 metres, due to a tightly packed field, C’EST L’AMOUR (App.P.S.Kaviraj) who was racing between ARC SHINE (Amyn Merchant) and BEEMER (A.Sandesh), was tightened for room and dropped back thereby inconveniencing GOSHAWK (N.S.Parmar).
 
Passing the 350 metres, GOSHAWK (N.S.Parmar) was denied a clear passage and had to change course.
 
Jockey K. Nazil (STEPPENWOLF) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being his second offence during the current Mumbai Meeting, he has been fined Rs.5,000/-.
 
Jockey Amyn Merchant (ARC SHINE) has been fined Rs.3,000/- for using the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount.
 
After the race, BEEMER was observed to have a cut injury at the right hind fetlock and C’EST L’AMOUR had left hind hoof crack.

Jockey Suraj Narredu was declared to ride PRICELESS GOLD.
 
Trainer Prasanna Kumar P. has been fined Rs.3,000/- for putting in late declaration in respect of his charge NISUS.
 
Trainer S.S.Attaollahi has been fined Rs.1,000/- for not producing the registered Racing Colours in respect of his charge LAGARDE (Akshay Kumar). The colt raced in emergency colours i.e. “ALL BLACK”.
 
At the start LAGARDE (Akshay Kumar, dr.1) jumped outwards thereby bumping and forcing ASHWA BRAVO (P.Trevor, dr.2) on to RAYS OF SUN (T.S.Jodha, dr.3). Due to this incident, PRICELESS GOLD (Suraj Narredu, dr.4) was also inconvenienced.
 
Passing the 1800 metres, ASHWA SHEHANSHAH (Dashrath Singh) veered outwards and thereafter ran detached from the field. Trainer Md. Sajid Qureshi has been asked to take remedial measures and show the gelding to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a Mock Race before next accepting to race.
 
Passing the 1800 metres, ASHWA BRAVO (P.Trevor) shifted out thereby bumping and inconveniencing LIVE BY NIGHT (A.Sandesh). On being questioned after the race, Jockey P.Trevor stated that his mount was inclined outwards throughout the race. Trainer M.Srinivas Reddy has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the colt.
 
Passing the 500 metres, PRICELESS GOLD (Suraj Narredu) shifted out and bumped SUMMER NIGHT (N.S.Parmar) who in turn shifted out and made contact with VENEZUELA (Neeraj Rawal). On being questioned after the race, Jockey Suraj Narredu stated that LIVE BY NIGHT (A.Sandesh) weakened and dropped back and in order to avoid clipping the heels, he was forced to changed course. As the same was borne out on the video recording, no action was initiated.
 
Jockey Y.S.Srinath (ROARING TIGER) has been fined Rs.3,000/- for using the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount.
 
The Sr. V.O. reported that LAGARDE was declared to run with bandages on both fore legs but ran without the bandages. Trainer S.S.Attaollahi has been fined Rs.1,000/- for his lapse.
 
The Sr. V.O. reported that NISUS was declared to run with bandages on both hind legs but ran without the bandages. Trainer Prasanna Kumar P.  has been fined Rs.1,000/- for his lapse.
 
After the race, LAGARDE was observed to have a cut injury at the left hind cannon and PRICELESS GOLD had a gum injury. ASHWA SHEHANSHAH and STORM TRIGGER were found to be sound in the trot.

On the way to the start, COUNT OF SAVOY (Akshay Kumar) dislodged the rider and bolted and was apprehended at the starting point . As such, the colt was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s order. Trainer S.K.Sunderji has been asked to take remedial measure.
 
BEASTIA (Bhawani Singh) was reluctant to be stalled. Trainer Karthik Ganapathy has been asked to give the filly more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
 
An objection was lodged by Jockey S.Zervan, the rider of ALFAYIZ (Placed Second) against KAMILAH (A.Sandesh, Placed First). The reason being, passing the 2 furlongs marker, KAMILAH (A.Sandesh) kept squeezing him in, intimidating his horse, taking his ground and bumping him on a couple of occasions and unbalancing his horse completely and denying him and his horse their rightful space up till the 100 metres, due to which he lost complete momentum, his horse got unbalanced and had come on and this had cost him a certain race.
 
After considering the submissions made by the Jockeys concerned, in conjunction with that of the Stipendiary Stewards and relying on their judgment, the Stewards decided to over-rule the objection.
 
After the race, Jockey M.Ayyar (ZARAK) reported that in the final stages of the race his mount was inclined outwards and in an effort to correct his mount, his reins had slipped momentarily.

Jockey Suraj Narredu was declared to ride BORN QUEEN.
 
At the start, LADIDA (C.S.Jodha, dr.8) jumped outwards on to LAKE TAHOE (S.Zervan, dr.9), who in turn shifted out and bumped LOMBARDY (Y.S.Srinath, dr.10).
 
Soon after the start, IMMORTALITY (P.S.Chouhan) shifted in and went across SEASONS GREETINGS (Neeraj Rawal) who had to be steadied.
 
It was observed that passing the 400 metres, Jockey Suraj Narredu (BORN QUEEN) In an effort to make room for himself, had shifted and bumped ALLURING SILVER (Akshay Kumar). Jockey Suraj Narredu has been fined Rs.3,000/-.
 
Passing the 350 metres, FIRE N ICE (Dashrath Singh) shifted out thereby inconveniencing BORN QUEEN (Suraj Narredu).  Jockey Dashrath Singh has been fined Rs.3,000/-.
 
Passing the 100 metres, FIRE N ICE (Dashrath Singh) was observed to have hung out and in an effort to correct his mount, Jockey Dashrath Singh used the whip from the left due to which BORN QUEEN (Suraj Narredu) who was racing in close proximity, shied outwards and had to be steadied.
 
In the final stages of the race, FOREST FLAME (P.Trevor) shifted out under use of the whip on to IMMORTALITY (P.S.Chouhan). Jockey P.Trevor has been fined Rs.3,000/-.
 
After the race, SEASONS GREETINGS was observed to have lost its left hind shoe.

In the process of stalling, USTAD PEDRO (M.Ayyar) brushed the gates. The gelding was taken out and examined by the Club’s Sr.V.O. who certified him fit to race.
 
Passing the 1000 metres, LEOPARD ROCK (Y.S.Srinath) shifted out thereby tightening USTAD PEDRO (M.Ayyar) who had to be checked. Jockey Y.S.Srinath has been cautioned.
 
Passing the 300 metres, COSTA RICA (Akshay Kumar) shifted out under use of the whip thereby bumping and forcing CELLINI (T.S.Jodha) outwards on to USTAD PEDRO (M.Ayyar) and PALOMAR (Bhawani Singh). After questioning, the Stipendiary Stewards decided to suspend his Jockey’s licence for one race day i.e. 27th March, 2021 for careless riding.  However, Jockey Akshay Kumar informed that he does not wish to appeal against the decision of the Stipendiary Stewards and wish to take his punishment earlier. As such, his Jockey’s licence has now been suspended for 21st March, 2021 (permitted to ride work/mock race).
 
The Sr.V.O. reported that USTAD PEDRO was examined after the race and found to be sore by the right hind leg. The gelding was exhausted and under distress condition. The gelding died in the saddling area due to shock.

At the request of Jockey P.S.Chouhan, his mount STARS FOR YOU was examined by the Club’s Sr.V.O. on arrival at the start and found to be sore from the right fore leg, as such, the  mare was certified her unfit to race and withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s order. The mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

FARAHNOUSH (K.Nazil) jumped out slow losing about 3 lengths at the start.
 
Passing the 900 metres ON VA DANSER (App.P.S.Kaviraj) shifted out and made contact with COLOSSEUM (App.A.S.Peter). App.P.S.Kaviraj has been cautioned.
 
After the race, ARABIAN STORM was trotted and found to be sound.
