Gold Ride for Nilgiris 1000 Guineas

The James McKeown schooled Gold Ride after winning two races from as many starts in the Chennai season looks good in the first classic of the Udhagamdalam season, the Nilgiris 1000 Guiness at the Blue Mountains on Saturday.

The main threat to Gold Ride in the seven-horse classic field will emanate from All Stars to be partnered by Akshay Kumar and Light The World from the stables of Vijay Singh. The former holds the edge and is set to run Gold Ride close.

Spirit Of Rose competing in the Queen Of The Hills Handicap looks outstanding among the 10 runners in fray and is recommended as the day's best betting proposition.
