It finished 7th out of 11,about 5 lenght behind, but was backed down from 20/1 to 16/10 was it
a gamble.

Heard the race call on radio, ran fifth or so, and suffered from a wide run. Christophe Soumillon seems to have won the race for a young french trainer

Please don't play desert god today at dubai, May be the plan is to come flying 3 or 4 today and there is plenty of racing in dubai with bigger stake money. He will try to win later.

DESERT GOD(5) is quoted @ 8/1 Win, @ 24/10 Place. (Fixed Odds from 'RACEBETS')
It's a tough 11 horse field where the Joint Favourites: SHAMAAL NIBRAS(1) & EMIRATES FLYER(2) are both @ 9/2 each.
My personal fancy though is EMIRATES FLYER(2) from ZAMBUCCA(11) with DESERT GOD occupying 3rd/4th slot.
