Hall of Famer 1 horse race won in Calcutta by 81/2l in 2.28 timing will be HARD to beat. Followed by London and Silver beauty. Sergeant a good 4th as he won't stay a fast pace race.

Indian Derby Winner will be from Pesi Shorff Yard.
Accolade, Mrs Patmore, Mathaiyus.
If anyone else who can come close is St Andrews and Ice Glacier

Accolade is as good as ruled out. To lose to Hall of Famer, who was beaten by Mrs Patmore! And then there is the PBMM and the Pune Derby jinx.
After the Calcutta Derby, I had following six horses in my slate:
1. Serjeant At Arms
2. Hall of Famer
3. Silver Beauty
4. Ice Glacier
5. Proserpine
6. Devoted Eyes
Now, should one add Mathaiyus and Salazaar to the slate?
SAA and Prosperpine belong to the same owner.
HoF and IG have the same trainer.
Best is to wait for acceptances to make a shorter list and then wait for the choice of riders before making a final choice.
And do not forget there is the Golconda Derby and the Bangalore Derby before the Indian Derby and some new champion may come to the fore.

Mathaiyus will be there too. Do not look beyond these horses.
