Ruffina

By Sksagar | 22-Jan-2017
STERLING PERFORMANCE BY `RUFFINA`

Never before has a three year old performed so well in the month of January.

The performance is worth 105 Time form Rating ( 126 on the Indian scale)

Augers very well for `Excellent Art`

The way RUFFINA won by 7-1/2 lengths carrying 56.5 kgs and clocked 69.80 seconds shows her immense class. Plus points are that David Allan did not whip Ruffina even for once, after passing 200m he was looking back over his shoulder, by the time the winning post reached the winner was 7-1/2 lengths ahead of the runner-up. Had the rider extended his horse, Ruffina should have broken the existing record (69.62 seconds) very easily.

The 1200m Record Holder AMADEUS was fully extended to beat Orito by 1/2 length (Dashrath Singh was suspended for excess whipping on Orito) - could clock only 69.62 seconds in 2012 carrying 57 kgs. So RUFFINA has a great future and is going to be one of the best Sprinters ever produced in India.

If any person behaving like a kid then that must be someone who survived the cruelty of world. Such people didn't let it change their true self. They hate others. Very few people live their life; most of us do not just exist for them.

@ All

I admire the alacrity of all.

My comments were based on Ruffina'a performance where she clocked 1m 11.6s for a 1200m race which was/is an ordinary time for this distance. I missed this race run on 22/1/17 and obviously I was referring to an earlier race and not the race IN QUESTION!
When I realised that timings of this race is far better - I corrected myself(24/1/17 11.37AM).It was neither mentioned in lead post nor before I posted my comments.

One advice.
Read any post correctly with reference and context. It will help in constructive discussion.

Poonawalas are businessmen and do not bother much about wins in racing . They are world's biggest producers of a vaccine and this animal is used to produce that...

Mr. Chanakya,

SKSAGAR is a gentleman who posts under his own name. In his post he had clearly mentioned IN THE MONTH JANUARY. It was your duty to have noted that before going off on WHO IS RUFINA ? INNOCENT FOOLS,etc. outburst. You chose to be sarcastic and got on your high horse.

Your explanation of not being at races is immaterial. You made a mistake. Everyone makes mistakes. To admit that mistake and say sorry is what is required of you.

You have made several mistakes in past. You had called Temerity "sprint bred" or words to that effect. You have also once said that you would stop posting if someone could prove you wrong. You have been proved wrong many times.

@ Sagar,

My mistake. I did not watch the race (did not go to the racecourse) and missed the timing of the race run on 22/1/17 and posted my opinion on her earlier race run in Dec. 16.
Not being alert, does create an embarrassing situation - I agree.

Ruffina is a top class filly and will go far, if kept fit...

@ SK Sagar ji

Trully Ruffina is an amazing animal. The timing she clocked itself is impressive and when u consider the fact that it's just second life time run then it's becomes incredible.

@ Chanakya

Please check the facts before commenting. I am yet to see your comment which is in support of lead post and whatever that may be. Do not criticise just for the sake of it. Ruffina may not turn out to be an extra ordinary horse but it's neither an ordinary horse.

It's a well know fact now that Poonawala horses do not live upto the expectations or potential. Lets see how Ruffina progresses.

Some people, out of compulsion rather than out of conviction, have to say something, whether it makes sense or not.

I wonder if you suffer from this syndrome, Mr. Chanakya ? Your comments on learned Mr Sagar's post were in bad taste, and it is in the fitness of things that you withdraw them, if not apologize

Grow up, Chanakya, and learn to appreciate the inputs of other participants, without trying to misguide other "innocent fools".

A time of 1.098m for a 1200m race is unheard of by a just turned 3 year old. I am sure if it maintains its progress in the time to come, it may even break the world record of 1.083 recorded by Evatina in 2006 on the Pune race track.

@ Chanakya,
When a race is won by a distance then one should not look at the timing, but one should look at the style of running/ winning.

@ Chanakya ... I am referring to Ruffina`s win of Sunday 22nd January where she clocked 1m 9.80 sec, winning by seven and a half lengths. On the same day a class one race was won in much slower time.

No 3 year old horse in India has ever won that impressively in the month of January.

She is odds on for the Poonawalla Breeders million in February

@ all who reponded,

What is Ruffina? Who Is Rufina? an ordinary performance! and here spring out 5 admirers!!!

she did 1200m in 1m 11.6s. Another 3 year old also DID 1200M IN 1m 10.5SECOMDS - MORE THAN ONE SECOND FASTER!!!!

WHAT IS THE REASON TO INFLATE AN AVERAGE PERFORMANCE?

TO MAKE HER A FAVORITE AND CATCH INNOCENT FOOLS CALLED PUNTERS?

Yes a very good horse. The owners several horses are like that to start but later fizzle out. They leave everything to the trainer and these people use it like encashing a draft.
