Like Bangalore Derby, this Derby must also prove that Pedigree still plays a role in competitive races. Roman numbers, DI,CD, etc.taken independently does not help. A correct correlation of various factors, cited above, including the ancestors and their position in the pedigree chart give correct clues...
Tororosso was an example and so will be the winner of this race...

The race is a real puzzle.My method of Analysis by Ratings comes up a cropper because of non-uniformity in revision of ratings across clubs.
Germanicus last race at Mumbai 2000G the rating shown is 82 while after its win in 2000G of Hyderabad was rated 100 a whopping 18 points difference of Ratings.Ratings go up like nobody's business City of Harmony at 90 in the 2000G race is the anchor horse which has taken Germanicus to 100.We have to be very careful in comparing Hyderabad horses with outstation horses.Considering all the aspects I expect the following result

The dosage figures for Germanicus:-
DI - 0.71 CD - minus 0.06
The dosage figures for Veronese:-
DI - 0.63 CD - minus 0.23
Dosage figures alone do not predict result of race. If they did, bookies will stop operating.
