Below Standard Racing At Mysore

By Sumeet Sarda | 02-Feb-2017
Racing was as usual at it's worst quality at Mysore races on 01/02/17.There is nothing new in all this, only that the quality of racing is getting from bad to worse in Mysore. The stewards of Mysore Race Club should in full public view bow their heads in shame for conducting such races. The excuse that the horses at Mysore are old discards from other racing centres in India does not seem to hold any weight now. This seems to be a reason for manipulation in the running & riding of horses as most of them are owned by bookies.

It is time for the law enforcement agencies to intervene & close the doors of Mysore Race Club forever. They have been conducting in & out racing since about 25 yrs now unabashedly.

Racing was substandard only during the non regular Mysore season, where the antepost odds were never declared. However this sudden deterioration in racing can be partly attributed to the unwelcome presence of bookies shunted out by the dynamic BTC stewards and now migrating to Pune, Mysore and other centers to ply what they know best..... mischief loot and manupilation.
A few who started conducting illegal business at home in Bengaluru, have panicked at the thought of police action and also the vexed problem of showing income to the tax man.
It's high time MRC also bans these bookies , fall in line with BTC and make Karnataka BOOKIE MUKT....!!!

In the rainy season ,nts get wings try and fly and die.

Same thing happens to longer odds horses in MYS suddenly get wings.and WIN

Time and again it has been suggested to carry out physical check of owners but than bookies will stand exposed .
Best to avoid this center as nothing will change
