Neeraj Rawal Is In Full Flight

By Bonzar | 03-Feb-2017

Neeraj is in full flight!

In life we sometime witness the arrival of a few legends. It was the year 2001 and on the hallowed grounds of Wimbledon Pete Sampras had won 7 Wimbledon titles (most in Open Era) was facing a relatively unknown Roger Federer   had not even reached a semi final of any Grand Slam event. Yet as we now know Federer won that match and has also won 7 Wimbledon and only yesterday won his 18th Overall.

Last year were all gathered for the pre-Invitation Cup GT it was hosted by Mr Tom Krish and was organized and coordinated by Arlington Park. While we were meeting many noteworthy names on HT who we have come to admire, we were really looking forward to the “Stars” that were supposed to arrive later.

Soon we had more than our share of stars, David Allan, S Padmanaban, Suraj Narredu, Yash Narredu and we also had Neeraj Rawal. To be honest most people were awestruck by the eloquence of Paddy and were touched by the honesty with which Suraj spoke and many were taking a real liking to Yash, for the young boy he was and also the mannerisms he displayed. I personally was quite fascinated by Neeraj, while he did not taste the kind of success any of the others were enjoying, he did not seemed too bothered. He sat quietly and man of few words. He seemed a happy go lucky, unassuming and down to earth person. I chatted with him most. And he was very articulate in answering each and every question I posed (some may not have been well thought out)   while everyone was busy taking selfie with the other “Stars” I was actually happy to take selfie with someone who I took a personal fondness to.

I wished Neeraj all the best. And since then have taken keen interest in his mounts. I have prayed he is able to taste success which he deeply deserves. No sooner! I found Neeraj winning races at will. It started with an excellent Pune Season, which he followed up with a string of classics. I write this post to take credit for his success. Just kidding. I think the meteoric rise of Neeraj is something we should all take note of. He has well and truly arrived after being in the fringes for a while now.  He has won the Bangalore 1000 guineas, Hyderabad Oaks and now the Indian Oaks. His is winning races all around India and he is the next big thing in racing.

I wish Neeraj the wonderful person he is, all the success and wish he stays humble and true to himself no matter how much success he gets.

An earnest request to all the people, please do not be venomous. This post is intended to celebrate the rise of a humble human who I have had the privilege of personally meeting.

@MADMAX

The likes of Viv Richards, Sachin, Dravid has been out for No score many time and that doesn't make them inferior. It does happen. If you average out the winner across the weekend, Neeraj still stands at top.

Oh Dharmesh, I didn't know that Mad Max prediction would bring in some much of good luck and money. I shall try it next time.

You people touted Temerity will win. It erred in win, it erred in second, you got a solace on 3rd.

I said it wont get a third place.
So I won on two counts when it failed to win, failed to finish runner up.

The title post highlighted Neeraj Rawal, poor chap not winning a single race on Derby day..? I commented well before the Derby he wont win a single race, his quota is over. Now who is laughing...?

See also other thread where Bonzar sponsored Salazaar, where I challenged him if it finish fifty I offered him a salute.

You, me, Bonzar we all are speculating, we are outside parties. Only the trainers, jockeys, owners know what is in store. We all are here making just hype around certain horses. In racing huge money is involved, on 4th it was Neeraj on 5th it was Trevor. Connections choose a jockey for one day for multiple gambles and then avoid him next day because they know the racing public are fools they will follow the jockey next day. That is their organized plan to loot thru jockey sentiments.

@ Madmax

Thanks for the guarantee ( Temerity should not finish in Place that is guaranteed. Mrs. Patmore (Buezlin Luiz) Vs Serjeant at Arms (Sandesh) Vs Germanicus (P.Trevor) in that order.) I backed TEMERITY place huge @ 1.5. LOL

The real fact I explained you well before the race. Not a single win today? What happened to your Neeraj Rawal. In reality his quota was over yesterday. Now who is getting laugh on which point...?

Neeraj won 4 on Saturday, now it is clear he wont get a single win today. THAT IS GUARANTEED. This happens with trainers, owners, and jockeys before the Derby. Mark it !

Dear Bonzar,
You have perfectly mirrored my feelings & opinion of Neeraj. While Suraj & Yash have dispelled the notion that they are neither heroes nor villains as they are made out to me Neeraj was all humility and quiet. I regret that I I didn't interact with him more that the spotlight was on Suraj, Yash, Paddy sir and David Allan. Neeraj however was very dignified and a happy person.
I am happy that Neeraj is able to show case his potential and is getting the confidence and patronage of big owners.
My best wishes will remain with you Neeraj and I am looking forward to more success in your career.
DRS.

Oh No Bonzer, I don't think he is in "Full Flight"... the American South West Airlines? (Lol) He was in BTC today. Temerity should not finish in Place that is guaranteed. Mrs. Patmore (Buezlin Luiz) Vs Serjeant at Arms (Sandesh) Vs Germanicus (P.Trevor) in that order.
