A Sandesh was very unlucky on Renee in the SC Jain Sprinters Cup. He was going extremely well but the wall of horses in front of him just didn't open for him in the home stretch. He kept weaving in and out hoping for a break but alas it was not to happen. One hopes Renee is nominated for the Sprinters Championship by RWITC. I have a strong feeling this is the horse to emerge as the champion sprinter of India!!

Renee indeed was lucky in the sc jain cup. Badly cramped for space in last furlong but once got the breathing place showed good accleration. Sandesh's decision of preferring from DP to Renee was surprising and that was one of the factor for for me for ignoring DP. I feel if Renee runs in sprinters cup then i will have good each way bet of her. I feel she got a good judgement of her opponents and this could be her trial run before the big event. (I could be wrong)

Just saw the nominees for sprinters cup. She is in it.
Depends how she can be trained for 1200 mtrs.

Good to see a healthy discussion.
First even I had given this horse but realised after the race[very natural]
That it is 1400 mtrs horse. Why left the winner though a winner of the same race last year alone 2 reasons.
One of the owners stated few days back the horse has peaked and do not expect anything more.
Change to A.Imran from Sandesh but this is the world od deception in racing nowadays.
C.Choice has had a set back and reportedly gone to stud .
As for march invitation week end ,too many horses let us see the field.My friend says Mickey mouse![jokes apart] will have to take a break if he wins.

The owners have a better sprinter i.e.'critics choice' and is much better than Renee. May have ran him instead of Renee in case the connections were interested in sprinters cup at banglore.

D Prances was a handicap certainty and he lived up to that. Renee will loose to him 10 out of 10 times with Sandesh or R Moore it makes no difference. Sprinters Cup is a open race and there are many others too who can win.

After loosing in Indian Derby over confident Sandesh has forgoton riding, look at his riding in Kolkata on favs and also on renee. I hope he does well in coming meetings

Renee has never won a 1200 mtrs race in it's career. Running with seasoned campaigners many of which have won more than half a dozen races does not call for any argument why it lost. Yes Sandesh will take any horse to the front but after that.

Your Royal Majesty would surely have won this race had P T ridden properly.
This was the fastest running horse at the all important end.
If only P T not kept him too far back, it would have won by more than 1 length.
Knowing this horse takes it's time to get into a good running stride, P T should have alerted him a bit earlier. Bad judgement.

RENEE .....never had a chance to win this perticular race at this handicap......Dancing Prances was outstanding at this handicap......and if renee runs sprinters championship also has no chance to win there
