3rd – Both (2) Six Degrees & (3) Santorini Secret will fight with each other, (4) Blue Sonic is the joker in the pack
4th – (10) Raw Gold & (11) Szable may fight with each other, (7) Lunar Storm can spring a surprise

A battle royale should ensue between one-time classic hope Common Wealth and improving Fire Glow in the S. Rangarajan Memorial Trophy, the 5th race of the day at Bangalore today. Common Wealth would have been carrying a penalty had it not been disqualified after finishing first past the post in the 1000G in Chennai in December. I'm going to keep faith with CW, despite khabars swirling around FG from it's stable....

2.15 #1 MISTRESS OF SPICE hasn't had the best of luck in the run at both of her last two starts. ( Bad check in rno 27 and sluggish start thereby losing a few lengths in rno 127). Can make amends now.
Keep an eye on #8 REGENCY GIRL she can upset in this moderate set.
2.45 Down in grade and distance #2 ACTIVE GREY will strike in this suspect field.
3.15 #2 SIX DEGREES ran down #8 STAR LINE here last time they met, the latter meets her better in the weights here and gets a chance to earn his maiden bracket on his handicap debut.
3.45 #3 ARK ROYAL is lightly-raced but has shown more than enough ability to challenge these after her last-start win at this track and distance.
4.15 #7 FIRE GLOW has always shown above average potential and won with something in hand last start. Up in grade and distance and he only needs that form to win this. Strong fancy.
4.45 #1 CHINA ONE finished close on the placegetters heels last start. Should be right at his peak and rates as one of the key chances.
5.15 #3 BLAZING FAITH nearly caused an upset in town last start when only just missed. Will appreciate the rise in distance and needs to hold that form to win this.
Don't ignore #1 ARTORIUS he can create a flutter at lucrative odds.
5.45 Absolutely respecting the debutant here in bred in purple #6 SOUTHERN STORM that has displayed plenty of promise at the trials. Drawn ideally to give a big sight.
#5 NOSTRADAMUS will be better from race experience and may give this a shake.
