Aika Aika Aika At Hyderabad

By Venkat | 20-Feb-2017
Had come mentally prepared for half money. Was amazed it offered 12 upon 10!! ( my ancient laptop's button for the oblique sign does not work). I was confused but still wagered at even money and my bet would have been larger had it been offered at 60 paise!!. After I had wagered a decent sum at evens it went up to the odds mentioned above leaving me very uneasy!I wish I had the fire in my nelly to wager again at 12 upon 10!! I am now laughing at the games these bookmakers play and they were taken to the cleaners in Pune!!

ockey Trevor Patel was on fire today. I played all his mounts today. I lost on two. When he wants he rides like one possessed!!Unlike jockey Akhade Sandesh who made Philadelphia stumble in Mumbai racing on 01-19 and rode Ms. Moneypenny like a novice!!

Cheers

You said "......I was confused but still wagered at even money and my bet would have been larger had it been offered at 60 paise!!"

Exactly the same with all punters. Punters blindly check the hot favourites .. yes on-money favourites and play blindly huge amounts. That is the exact reason why such favourites are pulled to drain out the punters money. Only a handful play when the dividends are high. That is the mentality of punters all over the world. Marega tho saath may marega, otherwise no.

Mr Venkat,

From your post, I understand that even a seasoned punter like you can be easily confused with a piece of chalkpiece. Despite you being so confident about Aika Aika Aika, you developed your own doubts when the odds opened at 12/10. Let me tell you, the horse would have lost (or, should I say, pulled) if the odds were half-money or even less. That's the trend in Hyderabad for many years. On-money horses losing in this centre is a regular affair.
Only because Trevor had a field day yesterday, please don't draw your own conclusions. The same Trevor had gone hell in the recent past by finishing second or third whenever fancied to win. Also, Sandesh too meets with mixed fortunes. After all, the racing industry itself is in a bad shape and blaming a particular jockey is not going to help any way.
Here afterwards do not draw your own odds on the animal that you fancy strongly. It may affect your playing pattern. Just pick your animal and play it, and if the odds keep increasing SHP and Place bets are always there to save your interests.
We say (including me) so many things, but the moment we enter into the racecourse everything is gone and we turn greedy. This is the truth and that's why we continue to lose. No Trevor or Sandesh can make you rich in racing my dear.
