My picks :

Race # 1. Left well alone;
Race # 2. Again a difficult race. A small net ( it is still a gamble)on flamsteed on 2 grounds--1. It returned bleeding in both nostrils last start when it ran as favourite--2. Alfy's only chamce of a winning mount;
Race # 3 . The Stardle (3) should win;
Race # 4. Heliconia ( 9)-- it would have been useful if she had been given a gate practice a few days before today. Mariska's connections once thought of her as a good thing when she was in western India under the care of Trainer Shroff and here she runs in Class IV!!Thus I think if she is not completely of the boil she should place;
Race # 5. Nashville Tennesse (7) should repeat. Place Baccardi (1)
Race # 6. I prefer Tangalooma (1) even with an app astride; &
Race # 9. A small gamble on old in the tooth No More Politics (1).
