The main reason is that the obnoxious bookie owner trainer steward link had one vital cog missing the bookmaker. So a merit based competitive racing conducive to all was conducted. The usual googles were not unleashed on the hapless public.
Until Karnataka becomes bookie free , fair racing will be a mirage. Mysore race club, take notice.

The best invitation weekend arranged by BTC.we friends from hyderabad, and chennai had a fabulous time at Bangalore turf club.the atmosphere was electric, well decorated including the walls and surroundings and the crowd is more than the official declaration.though the house was full,no difficulty in getting tkts at last moment also.canteen management team worked tirelessly throught the day.they were quickly refilling the food items which was exhausting fast.Most of the counter sales people were very polite.The racing was at its best.We have seen so many people coming from the other part of the country like Delhi, Mumbai,calcutta, chennai and pune,and hyderabad.
BTC had the routine contests and prizes distributed for the two days for the punters. Apart from that for every entry tkt holders was presented Prestige cooker on 6th morning,as a momento.this gesture i have never witnessed before.
Congratulations to BTC management for hosting this event in such a way,i wish hRC should also take a leaf out of this and do the same.BTC is way ahead of of other racing club in india.

It was a good weekend no one went empty pockets 90% all races wer on merit

I fully agree with you and they should get credit more so ever races were on time not like MUM where time has no value.

Also one more thing now since most had more than 12 runners BTC should rethink on this restriction.on number of horses in a race.

It shows the RWITC is left far behind and the way things are going soon south will be main hub of racing.
