In HRC premises people smoke right on the face of others with out any hesitataion

if some one objects , smokers will argue and fight

HRC Chairman don't know the smoking nu-sense

chairmen & vips don't suffer from smoking issue, because it is not allowed in A/C & vip sections

same rule has to be applied to other areas of HRC

Instead of allotting non-smoking zones

create a smoking zone/area where smokers can smoke

All Turf clubs has to wake up reg. this issue........

Worst tote in Hyderabad is Tolichowki sheikpet branch from the past 10 years no painting work has done inadequate lighting insufficient parking worst toilets moreover they can't provide hygienic water I had complained many times to manager he simply escaped by telling management is not listening

Even 20rs for entrance is to high for small punters. When money is not an issue to you why don't you goto A/C halls in lower tankbund OTC they charge 100rs for A/C hall the place is new so it very clean. And I think HRC and Police departments have more important issues then arresting the smokers.

Smoking near counters,televisions,every where happening in balanagar tote in Hyderabad but authorities not taking it into consideration,In kharaithabad tote the smoking was happening in the way between in 3'rd and 4'th floors there is no smoking zone common way and entrance is using for smoking,in Tolichowki the situation is too worst,people smoke every where,In Salrzung colony tote people smoke in Airconditioned room no body will stop,if we tried to stop they will not consider.

Please look into this issue seriously.

This problem has been discussed number of times and had been adressed to HRC chairman by Veda sir and team.Following is my view.
I firmly believe that no law enforcing officials or the security personnel posted at the race venues can bring a complete ban.First the ban should come within the punter community.I have seen only Chennai, bangalore, Mumbai, and pune racing centres along with my parent centre HRC.The punter community at HRC as a whole is very agressive than any other centre.They often comes to fight with each other for silly reasons.Discipline is the worst at most of the IVB centre.One day I asked a man who was spitting to desist from doing so,suddenly three other joined with him and fought verbally with me even asking to show my pocket so that they can spit.Being alone I just shied away from the scene.Now atleast at the new Tote at Ranigunj, and at Musheera bad ac hall they have a designated places to smoke.Banning of cigaratees sales and pan sales in the club premises may reduce.Being a smoker myself I used to buy sufficient stock before entering the premises.But I never smoke in the public area where my fellow non smoking punters has to suffer.In bangalore when I was recently there were people smoking but to the larger extend they were smoking in some corners together.So I just too joined them whenever I want to smoke.I find the punter community in banalore is far more understanding the HYD punters.
The only option now for HRC is to open new totes in HYD where smoking are not allowed strictly from the beginning, and slowly closing the the existing one if it is non viable.

it is a horrible problem no one is addressing,because health is wealth,hrc please wake up and do necessary steps,humble request,in other tote centres it is even more horrible

Do not expect any changes at this racing centre.

Here only money matters, that too in the clubs coffers. Nothing for the punters.

Only assurances / agreements are given, but not honoured. Some wise men have tried in the past, only for the club to go back to it's old and non-punter friendly ways.

Just go to purchase a tote ticket, one will know that the club is least bothered to see that windows are kept open, and to add fuel to fire, they claim that CCTV's are installed to see that the staff fall inline. Nothing has changed in the last year, since some are trying to reduce the suffering of the regular racing public. Forget meetings with the chairman etc, etc. It is only for P R sake.

I rquest MYSORE RACE COURSE SHOULD ban smoking in race course,is seen so many changes, entrance 10rs to 20rs,they put notice for carying mobile phones to toe should badges and so on,recently 1 more changes and annnouncement often and often during races going on ,enternce ticket only for one time,so somking should ban in race cource and do notice to all race goers,mysore is the cleanest city in india,lets see hope for the best going on.

Totally understand spitting issues but that cannot be curbed due to various issues ...But where-as Smoking goes I totally disagree...

If you don't like it then please find somewhere else to entertain your self ..

We hope to see reply from HRC chairman as to what action he is taking in this regard. Hope his secratary reads this message and passes to him

The smoking hazard is there even in members enclosure.request for some strict action to stop this menace.they should stop selling cigarettes in the race course
