My RC is independent race center. Even then I do not think they have permitted bookies after demonitisation unilaterally. They must have taken btc into confidence. And, btc management might have shown them the green signal.

Many will say "Bookies should shut down". But, there are vested interests. Who are ready to lock their parents in a dark room & throw away the key for a small piece of bone. As long as such characters are there to influence the decision makers, no reforms will be possible.

My point. Before you bet on ray race, do not blindly rush towards tote or bookies. Just do a small calculation and part with your cash that gives you better returns.

Where are you from. If the ans is "bng", then your desire to see bookies in the ring may not materialise. After so much build up for the past 4 months, it is too far fetched to expect BNG make itself a laughing stock by readmitting the bookies.

But, there are eternal optimists. Do not know the basis, But some bettors who I do not know are talking that Summer 2017 onwards there may be some limited bookies. As far as I am concerned, there is no such possibility. Dekhenge.

Bnagalore bookmakers are not burden,they start operate from mysore,more bookmakers stalls are installed from past 2 months in mysore.I also feel the bookies should be shouddown,Then only casual race goers can survive,let see in future rest of the centers are implemented or not.

the sport is being spoiled by the bookies.espacially as in rwitc and rctc. look in hyderabad system almost all the horses are tried. so punter gets good odds. there is no certainity in hyderabad. in RWITC and kolkotta if the horse is not there means it is not there at any cost even if it is backed to the brim
I also feel the bookies should be opted out and tote to be developed as in . i congratulate the BTC for the above and also provide good facilites to the punters.

Why you want the Bookies back? The employees of bookies can join the club if they know to operate the tote machine. The tote pay out is realistic. If you are getting low payment it is because of more number of winning tickets and should be happy that more people are getting the money.When you got rid of a disease why do want to have it again. We should encourage tote as it is beneficial to all.

Friends, the only solution to all problems ailing the Indian horse racing is tote betting on National grid and all race clubs of India must adopt it at the earliest to get rid of their woes permanently. There are prp and cons of bookies. For sample on Saturday no bookies means no idea for punters what the odds are. Punters are only looking at tote for any sort of indication. If bookies operated they would have known the fate of Automatic and Only Princess.

Bookies are operating at Mysore Race Course.
However - if the news are correct - their days are numbered.
MyRC will take a decision on this once GST and the prospect of a National Tote is decided.

As regards to BTC, the management has decided to KEEP AWAY the BOOKMAKERS from the race courses permanently. They have converted the Bookmakers Ring to TOTE COUNTERS. It means that chapter is closed.

Now the time has come to call bookies to operate the reason is all the banks r giving enough cash i dont think anymore cash problem requested to allow bookies to operate many bookmakers employes r job less it is very difficultly for them to live i have compared with tote odds on place it is not matching with bookmakers odds it is allways good to keep bookies for competion
