IMHO those who do not believe in handicapping, speed analysis or some other tried and tested methods for success in horse racing, will fail 9 times out of 10. Same is the case with those who resort to hear-say, numerology, astrology, gut-feel, etc etc which are doomed from the very beginning.

Oh yeah, Mad Max! If and if only you had combined with my winning selections in the first 3 legs of the JP, while you had the winners in the 4th & 5th legs...it would have been just one solitary ticket to victory! (Investment of Rs 10/-only)

Sir, I have the habit of adding horses born on the race day in my selections, especially in the Jackpot pool. Sadly for me, yesterday I ignored Alpine Express because no one in HT were interested in a discussion on that topic in spite of my repeated posts on this subject. That really cost me the Jackpot which carried over at BTC. Last two legs were my bankers - New England and Aeolus Maximus.
3,4/5,6,7,8/3,4,5,6,8,11/7/10
My above JP ticket combination cost Rs 480.
Had I included 12 in the third leg, it would have cost just 560/-.
Amount carried over is above Rs 94k.
This weekend at Bangalore there are total 9+10 = 19 races, total runners 214.
Out of 214, there is only one horse that foaled on its race day. On Saturday, 8th race NEW EMPEROR born on 18th March. Just wait and watch.

What excellent picks..!!! With what fantastic confidence you told that Chizzler/Shamvari/Cyclone/ Auderon/Hunting Pleasure cant win.I salute you with both my hands. You have time and again proved that only study will help in the end ( not moon and stars ). Here people boost of Europe trip etc. based on stars/moon/sun etc.and ...? Boss please continue to post such valuable tips and help people like us. I restrained myself from betting a big amount on chizzler only because you didnt like it for win. Thank you Boss.

Very interesting observations about horses winning on their birthdays.
I have no knowledge of astrology and my comments are neither in support or against your observations. In northern hemisphere, majority of the foals (between 75 to 80 percent) are born in the months of February, March and April. From June to December, you will hardly find a horse running on its birthday but every race will have winner.
So it is open to question whether there is any connection -- or cosmic cause -- about a horse winning on its birthday or whether it is just a coincidence.

R1-Wind craft which came a good fourth to Incentio in race no 107,is the best horse in form in this first race of the day.
R2-Art o war looks in form.
R3-A long shot Lucky Luciano is waiting for grabs.
R4-Skip.
R5-Incentio which was good close fourth to Abbey in race no 195 with hard rider Dashrath singh on job should win this race with ease.
R6--Free speech should win.
R7-Skip.
R8--Arsenal tracking well,should win.
Thats it comments on my selections are welcome though i am new to Indiarace HT,i have been following this site since long time so today being my first selections please do comment.

1st race:chizzler, dancing Lord and sawgrass are prime contenders.Chizzler can win again,but if sawgrass is ridden well can upset the favorite.
2nd race: Lord Commander,shamwari and turning point should finish ahead of others.turning point is showing out in tracks,but with a benefit of run Lord Commander can win.
3rd race: except Kotor none of the horses looks well prepared. To pick Horses finishing behind favorite should be a lottery.
4th race:slam dunk,ice angel and zabrok are my pics in this open race.with a claimer I would go with zabrok since the youngsters are not looking too impressive in this set.
5th race:incentio,allora, ancient glory and Alisha's pet should be concerned in finish.looks like a close call,shorter distance would have suited allora.with 200mts more to travel I feel Alisha's pet should win from ancient glory.
6th race: cyclone can repeat.rest of them should fight for minor placings.
7th race: looks like close call between angel girl,flag flying and auroden.
Auroden looks well prepared,with advantage in weights should be the horse to beat.

4.45 #7 SHAMWARI ran on well from a long way back on debut. Bound to have been improved by the experience and with a furlong more to travel she is one of the main chances.
Half bred to Brahmachari #10 TURNING POINT is bred to have some talent and must be kept safe at its first start. Don't ignore.
5.15 #2 KOTOR is on debut and looks a nice enough type on breeding. Preparation suggests he can make a winning debut.
5.45 Fashionably bred #11 SHALOM from Pesi Shroff's yard makes a belated debut presumably coming off a set back but has been solidly prepared to strike on debut.
6.15 #6 ALLORA is in a purple patch at present and connections will be keen to book more wins while it continues. Suited back in trip, she'll be hard to hold out. Must go on top.
6.45 #5 CYCLONE showed great acceleration and won in a canter last start. He finally lived up to his potential and maybe now he can keep going and run a string of decent races which he has always promised.
#6 QUEEN CREDIBLE can gallop but need a crystal ball to say when. Claimer helps and appeals on handicap. Don't leave out of chances.
