There are only TWO riders @ present theat is S A N D E S H , The allrounder @ PS C H O U H A N, The all India champion. The rest of them come hereandthere inbetween once in a while! One must be outright BLIND not to spot them at their best all the time.

One thing I agree as per the lead post that Suraj was escorting Shoban babu to ensure that he wins on FAIR GME. he was keeping HECTOR on tight leash and ensuring that FAIR GAME did it and he lost tantalisng ly.

He is born with a bit in the mouth. It is only because of his dad and uncle he could achieve this feat.
Yes he has achieved a lottt.
Lot of winners - He does not get suspended even when he pulls horses, he gets best rides due to the family connections.
There are more talented jockeys than him.
Talent is respected!

Right.
Srinath was a shocking flop on 17th. People were telling that he has to take some lessons in racing from Suraj. Next day Srinath was basking in glory. Suraj a big zero. Yesterday it was Trevor. One more zero from Suraj.
In the next race day meeting it may be Sandesh, thereafter Dashrath Singh, Neeraj etc.
So sfp may be right in his assessment. My rating Suraj ahead of Sandesh or Trevor may be somewhat incorrect. Dekhenge. As things stand, Suraj has ridden 36 winners and declared champion. He has his share of fans. Me one among them. That is all.

I have been watching racing for about 30 years now (gave up punting in 2013) and I just can't agree with anyone crediting Suraj Narredu as the best jockey. He is a very mediocre rider and if only he had emerged at the top of the chart this year it is because of many reasons. When it comes to true merit, he is far behind the line and can in no way be compared with compatriots like Sandesh or Trevor. He is more or less like his never-believe-me uncle Malesh, who had been one of the poorest jockeys Indian racing has ever come across.

Suraj is the champion rider in the just concluded BNG season.
Punters may be unhappy about his letting down his followers too often; but a rousing performance on 17th has more than compensated his fans for his failures earlier. If we are merciless in slamming him for his failures on top public fancies, we are ethically bound to convey one line of appreciation whenever he excelled.
I agree to one thing. He has not grown up to the stature of Mallesh, Shroff or Aslam. But, to me, among the current crop of jockeys, he is much better one than Trevor, Sandesh. Of course opinions vary.

I don't know who is making a particular jockey 'So Special'.
I don't know whether the background players are 'Bookmakers' or some 'Greedy elements'. Otherwise is it possible Suraj Narredu winning FOUR RACES only on saturday out of total 14 mounts, and Srinath winning FOUR RACES on Sunday out of total 16 mounts in the last two days. Don't you see these races are made up/fixed to suit a group of people's interest..?. The same people choose another jockey next day and fooling the race goers.
Raja Rao, Janardhan paswan, Shoban Babu like jockeys often and again proved they can also win races at big odds? Then why this partiality? Why not all jockeys get a fair share of mounts and winners? Most of them are starving.

He is the best rider especially in Bangalore you can trust him well, in other centers he does fairly.keep it up Suraj and be a super man for punters.
