What a horse.Virtually walked of the gates and in no hope positons till the last bend,breath taking acceleration and won in style.Except the jockey and the horse all have lost hope of Arrogate winning.Kudos to the winning team especially Mike smith.

Hey guyzz.. I would not say much but Arrogate is no where near to Secretariat.He was a real gift from god which can't be ignored and such athletes prove it even if they are not humans..Timings clocked by secretariat are unbeatable and don't forget 31 lengths at Belmont.
Arrogate no doubt is great but PlZ don't compare with secretariat . I don't think therewill be another like him..

What a great race. Arrogate despite getting a check at the start covered a acres of land and won the race. I have seen live as also replays several times. Is it horse or Monster.

Time form rating of Arrogate in 139 which no horse in the 9 countries of America and Europe has achieved this/last year.During last 70 years only 6 thoroughbreds have been rated between 140 to 147-Frankel is(was) highest rated at 147. With 2 or perhaps 3 wins Arrogate may reach/ surpass Frankel's rating , which is possible because he has more than enough time to do that before being retired...
winning this or that cup, or maximum stake money( now redundant because of inflationary pressure) does not make a thoroughbred great or best - independent , impartial evaluation does...

worlds richest prize is dubai world cup so the winner is called the worlds champion it is nothing wrong or false statement next year winner is the next world champion.why someone trying to compare with other horses and critisising the someone. enjoy the present trend and think new.

Having done a "SILVER JUBILEE" as a horse racing punter and now a enthusiast never ever saw a horse race of this caliber. Thanks "Discovery Sports" for the "LIVE" broadcast in Mumbai.Once in a lifetime and i saw it bragging rights !

I say the winner ofJapan Cup is the best horse in the world.
My betting-mate says Melbourne cup winner is the best horse in the world.
Some one from Mumbai says, the best horse title should go only to America Triple Crown winner.
There are toooo many punters who do not recognise any criteria other than money. For them the stake money earned is the only criteria for identifying the best horse in the world.
Ram iyer says Dubai cup winner is the best horse.
At the home page "News Around", the heading written is 'the best horse in the world won Dubai cup'.
So, to be fair and reasonable, all the above criteria can be considered as correct. AND AT THE SAME time, all the above criteria also may be considered as wrong.

Whether Ram Iyer is right or wrong is debatable. But, can you say which horse is the best one as of today and one or two lines about the achievements of that horse.

Gatsby are you serious or know nothing about international racing. Arrogate was rated 134 before the race he smashed Chrome who was the champion. He is compared to the greatest horse Secretariat. For god sakes read up before posting silly comments.

I was eagerly waiting for 25 Th evening to watch ARROGATE & watched the race sitting tight as good as my billions are on it.
Just awesome,wonderful & ultimate horse & once he started moving with raking strides in the home straight,there was no doubt who will be the winner.
Salute a great horse & the jockey handling it with aplomb.
