5.00 FLYING DRAGON has the big weight but he appeals most on class and merits strong consideration for his previous close 2nd to Vulcan at this trip.
STAR OF HARMONY would have won last time if she had kept the straight course, now up in grade and a furlong more to travel. Has weights and age in her favour.
JÄGER BOMB is up in class and last run was suggestive.

5.30 MATHAIYUS is improving with every run and looks to have found another easy opportunity here to make it a four in a row.
MEKONG DELTA seems to re-discovering her form and has low weights but is yet to win at this distance.

POKERFACE showed good progress from his maiden run to win last time out, may at best place.

GOLDIE'S PET has matched strides with best of the youngsters and showed speed to lead last time only to be picked off late. Drops slightly in distance and might be difficult to catch.
MISS MONEYPENNY was fairly beaten by above name last out.

6.30 FAIR WARNING led till 400m last out over 1400m trip and will like the step down in trip.
ICE DANCER made an eye- catching debut and will relish the step up in trip but is not seen in tracks since last run.
LADY SERGEANT looks ready for maiden win after a string of consistent runs. Will relish the rise in distance and is the one to beat.
NEXTSTAR is showing improvement in trials but was beaten by last both names. Looks a nice place prospect.

7.00 NASCAR led for a long time last time only to be swamped late at 1200m trip. Back over her pet distance she will burn forward again and prove tough to catch.
HIDDEN SOUL gets in well after the claim and distance is ideal.
UNDISPUTED is consistent this season and gets the service of inform rider. Was beaten by the first name when they last met.
FREE SPEECH is up in grade and has low weights.
MINSTREAL HEIGHTS is the another one on promotion with both weight and age in his favour.

DANCING PRINCE is down in grade and cannot be ignored although he has never won at this trip.
AEOLUS MAXIMUS won well and has to defy penalty.
RARE SILVER is in good form and can repeat under penalty.
RAIN DANCE merits attention for her close 3rd to Irish Bailey and has low weights.

in my post in the selection thread,,I opted for valentino,,a rank outsider in the 5th race..it was a chance choice..but after a little more study,,feel like NASCAR will be hard to catch..so in the CONTEST thred have opted for NASCAR..

sandesh in kolkata fell from his horse which was a 13/10 favourite at the gates. the horse veered up and he lost his balance and he jumped . no injury at all

What happened to Sandesh we do not know the exact picture, he has accepted all 7 rides today and the latest report is he is not riding today also much to the relief of punters all over India. Yesterday also he himself kept out and we all thank him do the same till the season ends. His recent failures on hot favourites invited lot of criticism in Horse Talk on 27th. Most of all major riders, Aslam, Malesh, Rajendra like jockeys gone thru such a space during their career, either due to pressure from Mafia, or deliberately hiding physical injuries. If you are unfit it is the duty of a sincere rider not to accept mounts. Whatever may be the grounds, punters all over India got a large reprieve as they scared of his presence on fancied runners.

Selections and Few Lay Bets today:

1ST RACE:
3-STAR OF HARMONY-WIN
I do not find any horse in this set that can beat SoH.

2nd RACE:
3-MEKONG DELTA-WIN
1-MATHAIYUS – LAY

I think Mathaiyus has reached his zenith with a hat-trick. Last win was in a farce race. There is one more reason to LAY. This race is made possible because of collective effort of Lagad & Jadhav (both related) so this race should go to one of them.

3rd RACE:
2-ORACLE-WIN
4-WISE CHILD-LAY

Oracle won easy in his solitary outing, is a pure sprinter on the upgrade. The Bahrain Trophy is a prestigious one for the CHENOYS as Nazak’s father has annexed this 6 or 7 times in the past (?). Hope the daughter emulate her father.

When MAM was alive no trainer even Karthik dared to race his horses in APRIL HEET. He used to call pack up in the last week of March itself. Now the situation changed, yesterday Karthik won a hard fought race over 2000m, today over 1000m, straight away promoted to Class-II without a win in Class-III. There are some serious front runners in this race, whoever take a level break and sizeable lead may annex this race. Normally a Munshi deals with cash, you should be cautious with your cash.
