Here are My SELECTIONS for DELHI Races of 10th April, with a brief write-up on each of the 6 races.


Race 1 Win#5-RIOS GIRL: Will face stiff opposition from I WANNA RUN, owned by the day's sponsors. At the wire, I hope RG does oblige...close finish expected!


Race 2 Win#2-STORM AWAY, to be piloted by Dhanu, should storm away from the rest of the runners! AMAZING BOLT is the dark'un here.


Race 3 Win#8-COURTSHIP: A Classic contender from Mumbai (having run with likes of Mrs Patmore) will simply outclass this field. My DAY'S BEST.


Race 4 Win#3-DESERT OF GOLD: MY ABLAZE, winner last time out, may not be able to defy the winning penalty; whilst Desert of Gold looks all set to do an encore over this distance and class...last won on 31st Jan.


Race 5 Win#1-BREEZE: Ridden by Dhanu, this being the feature event of the day, the sponsor's horse gets my first call.
Whereas MR STUNNING, last time also ridden by Dhanu, might have to stay content playing the role of a bridesmaid!


Race 6 Win#6-ASHWA GAURVI: A tricky race with several in the fray. My first choice however, is this Dasrath Singh's mount.
