Here are My SELECTIONS for DELHI Races of 27th April'17, penultimate day.


Race 1 Win#11-DARJEELING: A course and distance winner in the same class, ten days ago, in quite a decent timing, indicates her readiness to strike again.


Race 2 Win#1-OXFORD PRINCESS: In Rc#277, My Desire was the on money favourite, won by Darjeeling, while MD had only placed a faraway 7th, whereas, Oxford Princess was a close fourth in that very race. Since I once again fancy D'ling to repeat that performance today...hopefully, Oxford Princess too, should also hoist her winning flag!


Race 3 Win#8-PREVISE: Whenever Dhanu S Deora has ridden this horse, thrice in this season so far, it has always won! So, the FOURTH win of this Magan Singh ward is on the cards, since DSD has now been requisitioned to ride Previse, instead of Shekhawat, who had done duty on Previse's previous run.


Race 4 Win#6-MASTER PHOENIX: In Rc#247, Master Phoenix had thrashed Udaan by quite a distance! Udaan in turn, had the measure of MAJESTIC MOVEMENT in a subsequent race(Rc#288).Given that equation I expect Phoenix to prevail over MM

Keep an eye on AMAZING WONDER, who has been thoroughly prepared in a Mock Race and might even upset MP's applecart. A good place prospect.(if place odds>2/1)


Race 5 Win#10-ENCHANTING LADY: Twice third (once in the Fillies and once in a Million), the 3 yr old is well prepared to tackle this older lot in a Cl-III
category race (though first time in open class)


Race 6 Win#3-SMILE OF LOVE: Already a distance winner in the same category; she has also been demoted from the upper class, despite having placed a fair third, in that previous run. My Day's Best and JP banker.


Race 7 Win#11-GOLDEN COAST: Her consistency deserves to be rewarded!
Although, in her last essay, as an on money favourite, she was an uninterested 9th, while that race was won by a 'doosra' from Magan's stable--Smile of Love.

Since I also fancy Smile to smile again, I reckon that the coast ought to be clear for Gold Coast as well, to oblige her supporters.

With this victory, Magan would have added at least 3 more winners today, to his already bulging tally!
