I would like to share some memories of Nilgiris Derby happend long ago.
It was Winged Wonder and Grandparade participated in the Derby. One was ridden
by Jagdish and another by Karansingh. I forgot which horse is owned by them.So I just narrate what is happend. The horse owned by A C Muthiah won the Derby from
Dr.MAM Horse. Immediately Jagadish raised objection and clearly it was Upheld
and orders revised. That time Mr.A C Muthiah was in Malysia. But Dr.MAM was present to receive the Derby cup. On return from Malysia Muthiah told the press
that he received a call from His asst that his Horse won the Derby.but after
few hrs again he was told by his Asst. that his horse lost in objection. On hearing the news he was saddened.
Now after so many years Dr.MAM horse Chief of Command won the Derby and the
person who received the cup is non other than Mr.A C Muthiah. What a Time Change.
I just wanted this to share with all racing patrons,nothing else.
