In the business world, there are many successful businessmen in India today, who are not educated much. I do not want to give their names here, as it serves no purpose. Education, upto a certain level is required, in certain fields but not all. Good luck to the new trainers.

Rattonsey has tendered an apology for the wrong usage of one word.A exceptional thing on this site.however he has raised an issue
Did appu pass the written exam. two why did he not undergo training with any trainer,do they count starter a training.
Btc has this bad habit of bending rules. Many years back at the insistence of Late MAM S ganapathy an exective was given a trainers licence bending all rules.
Still let us see his performance. Nowa days no one gives any race to any one.

Can any one define who is educated.
If you are all educated can you define the law of probability?

Dear all,
I apologise if i have hurt the sentiments of fellow HT'ers by calling Appu an illiterate.
I have no discord with Appu, niether have i lost a few 100s while backing him.
I'm just a keen follower of equine sports and racing is just one of them.
The differential treatment of club is annoying. Rule is a rule even for a fool.
They pull up and punish mediocre jockeys for small wrongdoings but let the big ones go scot-free even after committing heinous acts of public cheating.
I never commented about Appu's riding abilities or training abilities, but where did the rule go while granting him license?
All I hope is the sport dosent suffer because of wrongdoings of a insignificant handful (who have wrongly gained importance)
Warmest regards,
RS

Without knowing fully commenting as "illiterate" is unwarranted. Can this person tell me Qualifications of other trainers. Training horses is nothing to do with educational qualification. Illiterate is one who cannot read & write. Babu Rao's case is he never knew who were his owners and he was not even aware of the names and number of horses he had in his stable.Let us not go to the personal details.

Too bad and painful to call Shri K.P.G.Appu illiterate. There are uneducated people even in places where education is required whereas I do not think the same is the case here. I request Mr Appu the forget and forgive, and do your best to capture the hearts of punters with your great success which I foresee as a new
Trainer. All the best to you Sir.

There are 2 examples of so called highly educated trainers.
A hussian moderate success
S Mangolakaar total flop. both sent abroad for training..
Mansoor shah was sent by Mehta to australia for few months.today is only a 5 b expert
Appu has more experience put together against many trainers.Let us give him a chance and not condemn him. Many trainers in BNG need to be retired .
New faces are always welcome.Today in racing results matter and also ran horses
I find RR''S horses with Parvati Byramji.Has the son finally decided curtains down for his father.

@ Rattonsey
That was very cheap of you to call a former rider ILLITERATE... I don't know how long you have been in racing, & must have bet a few hundred times on KPG Appu when he was a rider and to use that word now when he has become a trainer is very mean of you. Views from all fellow punters

Grand welcome to all the trainers.
Wish you all the luck.
KPG Appu is waiting to give masala.
The rest of them were assistant trainers before being granted trainer's license. Even the greats like Mallesh and Pesi were assistants at least for some time. Here KPG Appu was a starter with the club.
In the first place i wonder how was he even granted Trainer's licence as he is illiterate. Club withdrew license form Babau Rao as he was illiterate but has somehow granted it to KPG Appu.
God save the punters!
