Right. What I write may be correct or may not be correct. But, anyone desiring to point out the faults in my postings should first speak what is right and then they are most welcome to point out my faults.

Fault finding is the easiest job. Even a 5th standard boy who has not even heard about races can do that. But, only those who can give a well reasoned counter view should venture in fault finding.

What is this "I do not blame you". Where is the question of blaming or praising? I write something, and welcome others to give an improved version. If they indulge only in highlighting my faults without conveying anything new or worthwhile, then their posts as well as my posts will both reach the same dust bin.

Raghavan you have hit the nail on the head.

You told earlier that Arvind or anybody for that matter should not disclose the profit he made or not made. And, now you feel vindicated.

Even before you are satisfied about the correctness of your stand, I was well aware that whatever you say is 100% correct.

Only thing I can not understand is why are you so worried about my putting some questions to those minuscule horsetalk punters who speak about their profits. I put some serious question to everyone who claims profit and that is no problem to any other horsetalk member except you. If you feel that what I write is totally silly, meaningless etc. you can just ignore reading those posts. OR still better, come out with your own write up that is overflowing with wise and worthy. Instead, you always speak about the draw backs in my posting which no one else notices or which no one else bothers about.

One thing I am sure and happy about. I can boldly write any number of posts in this site. There is one guaranteed listener!

When a person hastily writes 2000k, and that 2000k is evidently wrong, that does not mean that it is only 2000. It could be 20k, 200k also. So, just be reassured that the question that we put will have some logic. To be frank, I was under the impression that Aravind actually gained 20,000.

Aravind has erred in his narration. Not a big issue. During the initial days when I was writing in this site there were many mistakes from my side also that conveyed exactly opposite meaning than what I desired to say. Only nowadays, I am knowing what I write. And, of course, if such old mistakes from my side still persist, then anyone can point out those mistakes without any inhibition.

Agreed. You are 100% right. That is, to me 2000 plus is too high. But, to you, 2000 gain is peanuts. Happy to hear from a person, who must be earning in five/six digits. Relatively, from your view point, it is reasonable to damn any profits like 2k/3k etc as just pea nuts.

But before ridiculing or belittling 2000 gain as pea nuts, I desire to know what amount of gain you consider as modest, reasonably good or very high as per your standards

If you are winning well above minimum threshold that you have fixed, then accept my hearty congratulations.

First, mention the threshold figure, and then convey your proposed bets (minimum 2 per day & no maximum limit) for the remaining 24 days of Bangalore racing season (current). Very very simple format: Race number, horse name and the proposed bets.

Needless to say your betting plan should be posted 2 hours earlier than the start of the first race.

In a different context, I have stated that anyone who wins 10k or more in races, in a single day, is a big big hero to me. Demonstrate to the world that all your talk is not just bravado. There are too many in this site who have scored distinction in bravado. Prove that you are a man gifted with very high level of aptitude in betting on horses.

There we go again. Raghavan is always waiting for some one to make any profit even if it is peanuts!

If you played for place, then mention only that much. "played place Imran chisty horse in the 6th race". In this site the word 'laid' should never be used as a synonym or substitute for 'played'!

As far as this site is concerned, "laid" and "ate' are synonyms.

MiniJp Rs.60/-so 3rd,4th,5th race gone.Sixth race I played Rs.100 place bet on Imranchisty at 21/5 to 1.got Rs.250.i took tanala all combination
for Rs.30 ( 2-7-10)result was 7-10-2 so i got Rs.744/-(this is taken by attendant of MRC.even bookie he will pay behalf of me.)seventh race i played Rs.200/placeshivalik boy.but failed.last race i played Rs.200 place bet on Times Time 6 to 1. got 1200.I think your clear now.I have witness as
MRC attendant for all this action.I will not write lie.

Non favorites but in the betting: Grand empire, Super success.
Outsiders: Brave Girl, Queen of good times.

Day 2,

Favorites: Arziki, Astrild, Rum-runner, Anantanarivo, SAA, Att-Genl.
Non favorites butin the betting: Duke of Clarence
Outsiders: Torsoro, Cardducci

Except Rum runner which was oversold to peti bettors, and to some extent SAA, other favorites were at modest & good odds.

So, the favorite players must be fully satisfied.

But Aravind jee. Was really surprised with your profit claim. Can you give the correct figure? I do not think at the odds offered on winners anyone can gain 2000k.

I also desire to hear from you one info. You said you ate Imran Chisty for place. What was your risk (bet amount & commission) and what would you have got if the horse not finished in 1,2,3.
