1-5 STAR GUNNS - As this is a maiden race, I doubt about the favorite to win this race. I think At the top is good for SHP.
2-2 BADSHAH - By Rock of Gibraltar, ran a decent race this season coming from behind to finish 2nd over 1200m extra 200m will suit. Should win.
3-9 REACH THE STARS ran well to come 2nd this season, should win this time.
4-10 FLAMING SPEAR ran over 1100m and going 300m extra, I think should suit and that race was a lung opener.
5-4 NAVAL GLORY is a good breed, ran well to win by 5+L over the same distance. Should repeat.
6-10 MARKUS SITTIKUS again a recent runner and a decent 2nd coming from behind. Should win this time.
7-5 TOBIN by Curule, is a recent winner beating almost the same bunch, with 4kg extra no problem. Will repeat.

Focus on the horses already ran this season and running again. This is because it shows their form already and ones taking their first run, may be it will be a lung opener for them.

1st – Maidens race, going by the stable/jockey/trainer performance, (1) At the Top will be on top, not a race for betting, just to watch, (5) Star Gunns might be the competitor

2nd – (6) Coffee Time is knocking the doors for quite some time and may provide the first winner for the jockey if he handles it well, both (1) Brown Fairy & (11) Superlite are youngsters who can upset, (9) Precious gift might be a safe bet for place

3rd – (8) Speed Queen can get this today from (4) Forest Queen, (9) Reach the stars might be a false favorite in this race

4th – (10) Flaming Spear can get this from (7) Safe Bet or (9) Esterhazy, also note (8) Cool dude for JP hunters

5th – (1) Script writer on age looks better, but the season opening day winner (4) Naval Glory runs with a chance to repeat the performance, (7) Castle King will be a good SHP proposition
