The THP was introduced. Collections were around 10 lakh per race. Actually, many peope were in some confusion that the THP is in replacement of place pool.

However, no reason to worry. BTC has not cancelled the place pool. Bettings were accepted for Win, shp and place pools in the routine manner. THP was an additional pool. That is all.

1st Race
1 – Bold Nature – with this jockey, may be a gamble
2 - Country’s sepoy – with this jockey might try start to finish for upset
3 – Cool dude – Good third to flaming spear, will be in contention
5 – Catch her young – can be a gamble today
6 – Precious script – place chance
7 – Coffee time – missed out last time, can upset now
9 – Country’s charm – good 4th over 1100mts, with 100mts extra, good chance now

My choice: (5) Catch her young / (7) Coffee time, each way & small upset chance on (9) Country’s charm

2nd Race
2 – Rustic Sunrise – good 2nd last time, earlier winner at same distance, good chance now
3 – Clouds – younger horse, with a good jockey from Bangalore will be in contention
4 – Invincible wish – at suitable distance, can upset
5 – Waterfall – younger one, with trainer/jockey combo, will be favorite, can win, but intention matters
6 – Forest queen – going the distance for first time, but jockey is suspect
8 – Senator – may place

My choice: (3) Clouds might get this from (4) Invincible wish

3rd Race
1 – Go Man Go – with this jockey may place
4 – Golden Cruise – missed out last time, can upset now
6 – Sadvir – upset chnce

9 – Iroko – long overdue for a win, younger in bunch, good chance to upset

2 – Anonymous – tracking well with the jockey astride, stable known to hit when least fancied
4 – Chase the ace – good third last time, ignore that failure, can win now
6 – Queen – may need this run after the long gap
7 – Dhanyavaad – knocking the doors, can do it on any day
8 – Run to win – tracking well, with this jockey can upset

6 – Beyond thankful – one for jp hunters
7 – Dare the don, last start winner on promotion, may place here

10 – Ephialties – tracking well, can upset
12 – Neymar – speedy, if takes a good jump and hit the front, can upset all

6 – Chandini – close 5th in last run, can improve from that run and may upset

Hi and Eid Mubarak to All!
My selection is based on the pedigree and recent runs.
1-3 COOL DUDE - Ran just once this season and placed 3rd and it a lowest category. With the benefit of a run over 1400m and now 200m less and not a strong opposition,should win.
2-3 CLOUDS - Two 4yr old in the race by M Eshwer, Clouds and Waterfall. Considering the weight of the horses to go the distance of 1600m, I prefer Clouds.
3-9 IROKO - Ran a good second in the first run this season. Considering a lung opener, should beat this lot.
4-4 CHASE THE ACE - Ran a good second this season with a timings of 1:05:95 with J Paswan in the saddle and tracking very well. Excellent chance in this set.
5-5 JFORD - Won impressively in its first run this season over 1200m in a lower set with timings of 1:12:28 carrying top weight of 60Kgs and winning by 3-3/4L. I think should be a good double for the trainer M Eshwer.
6-8 AZURE FIRE - Ran behind Markus Sittikus in 1400m race, MS won the last race over 1600m with a good timings of 1:36:42 but has up in weights. Azure has an advantage of 7.5Kgs. Now after the first run this season Azure is ready to strike at longer odds.
7-7 DR SCULLY - Ran a good second to Be Ready over 1100m clocking 1:06:20 and Be Ready won again. Tracking well as well. Should win.

My good Double: CLOUDS/JFORD and single best bet CHASE THE ACE.

In the first race Bold Nature looks good he is not this class animal with positive change in shoes and Rayan to guide should make it easy if the connections are on the go

In the second race Rustic Sunrise versus Waterfall the former looks good but if Waterfall has got a sizeable lead and should hit the front from word go can make a difference

In the third race the first leg of the Jackpot pool there can be a bombshell

In the fourth race Dhanyavaad,Run To Win,ANONYMOUS all have equal merit but if Dhanyavaad hits the front there is no catching him.

In the fifth race ADMIRAL NELSON,FJORD should fight for top honors

Sixth race another stunner to mellow down the tickets

In the seventh race Diamond Attraction to DR.Scully but Prashanth Pawar has a bad record when his horse is on the top of the betting, a trainer whose license appeal the club should never considered, God have mercy on punters

Race 1 Win#3-COOL DUDE
Tracking evenly with his Cl-III stablemate, and on the basis of his last flying 3rd to Flying Spear, is presumed to win in this batch.
The bottom weighted VROOM VROOM can be the potential challenger.


Race 2 Win#5-WATERFALL
Slowly off and also could not get a clear run in the straight, during her last outing. Is expected to amend here, given her final gate practice and a 'mock' race with her Class-II stablemate, Fink.


Race 3 Win#4-GOLDEN CRUISE
Ran 3rd in her last start over the same trip, and moving impressively in the latest trials, should manage to finish ahead of IROKO, on the basis of their mutually revised handicaps.


Race 4 Win#4 CHASE THE ACE
The best on handicap, timing and past performance in this field....looks to be a sitter. Hardly any competition. MY DAY'S BEST.


Race 5 Win#5-FJORD
Saddle slipped & slow off in his last start, yet had decimated the opposition as an on money favourite. Most likely will repeat.
ADMIRAL NELSON from Ooty is her only worthwhile competitor.


Race 6 Win#1-MARKUS SITTIKUS
Undoubtedly, the race is between Markus Sittikus and CLASS ABOVE. However, I fancy the former based on his impressive victory, last time out. With an in-form claimer engaged, might do the trick again. Keep both in your JP.


Race 7 Win#1-DIAMOND ATTRACTION
Ran 4th to Eloika over 1200mts in the higher class, and moving impressively in the latest trials. With 4 kg apprentice astride, should easily account for DR SCULLY, who is the only likely threat.
