That's the problem, nobody wants to think it's gambling and we are not guaranteed about our money even if we are gambling on a 25-30paisa favourite.upsets are common in every sport,we can't expect the favorites winning always.

When will we find upsets winning? simple...
When favorites are vulnerable.i have seen many of them tipping favorites to eat,so when you feel favourite of that race might lose then obviously it will be won by some other horses, can't expect 2nd or 3rd favourite to win always just because we don't like market fancy.
Another reason for flukes could be as Pradeep mentioned we have few new trainers now who wants to make their presence felt here,so when there is competition such results are common,
That's the reason we find lot of upsets in Hyderabad races too.

Going through this thread, one thing is sure Horsetalk has 50-50% of punters versus owner/bookies/jockeys.

It's very funny that when on Saturday most of fancied horses won, nobody had any issue of Bad racing, GST & what not. On Sunday when the trend reversed huge whining?
There is no doubt that races are getting difficult to understand with outstation horses, new trainers & maybe too many stables trying. Also the new jockeys from various centres are also adding to the woes of punters.
Simple thing is to restrict your betting amount & no.of races to wager at.
Monsoon seasons at Hyderabad, Kolkata & PUNE are commencing shortly & try your luck there.

Can you clarify how letting win the longer odds helping the clubs.
BTC is tote only center now. Whoever wins at whatever odds the club has to distribute the money to winners. So how does it matter to club who wins and not. GST paid by the club is going to be same whether fevorite wins or longer odds wins. Or is there a provision if longer odds wins the club pays less GST?? I am so confused.. can u clarify

Gentlemen, the issue is of racing on Sunday, and not of a particular race, involving Denny Crane. Racing of the first 4 to 5 races.

By such writings, punters are only encouraging the going's on at this centre, forgetting the manipulations of the other four races.

Come on, for a while forget the Captains race, and talk about the other 3 to 4 races, and give reasons for the upset wins. ( all results were managed and settled, long before the races could start).

Many good tipster's and bloggers do not write about these matters openly. But, much later on, they write about these horses run's in hidden meaning sentences, and do not openly point fingers. Have courage gentlemen, have courage to say a rat is after all a rat and nothing else.

There is no meaning in Horse's Body weights ~ You may able to cite such references in five races out of 100. In a previous thread I reminded same thing to Chanakya with a reference - a horse increased its body weight by 81 Kgs in three runs and won commandingly on third attempt. Even an high calibre punter does not know what would be the correct body weight of a horse to win a race? Please leave these things to the trainers and forget it. Do you know Castle Bridge increased its body weight by 18 Kgs and won Colts Championship on 25th June 2017. Perfect Star reduced 17 Kgs body weight and finished second in that race. How you will analyse these weights to their performance. Apache Sunrise increased increased 14 kgs and finished 7th. Hartnel carried same weight and finished 9th. So Sir, please leave such things aside and enjoy racing.

You said your second choice was Danny Crane and you made some positive comments on it. SADLY YOU NOMINATED THE OTHER HORSE - MULTITUDE AS YOUR DAY'S BEST in the same race. Dont you think your positive comments on remaining races gone haywire. EXCEPT MULTITUDE & CALL ME MAYBE - all other tips Board Out? I am not blaming you, all other horses were in merit, but the GST effect doomed us admit it.

If such things are an exceptional cases to point out, then why I cant? I had also given 4 SUCCESSFUL LAY BETS = GANDHARVA, CAPTAIN COURAGE, AMBLE SIDE, FLICKA. Since I tipped Captain Courage for EATING, no one can cite this horse and criticise me.

Captain Courage was resuming back from a long spell missing the whole Mumbai season whereas Denny Crane had couple of outings in Ooty and finished close (1.75 length) behind the winner in his last start. I clearly mentioned in my selections ' DENNY CRANE was not faraway on resumption and has been tracked. May upset at lucrative odds. ' and it did win at lucrative odds as expected.
I hedged it with my first pick Multitude and am glad.
Nothing to blame connections.

racing or any other sports ,flutters happen ,if there were no flukes then there is no fizz .u have to give equal chance to every horse .Denny crane is not a mediocre horse by any means and had fitness to its side.we should not get carried away by the odds,because horse doesnt know what odds its racing.

90% of punters pockets were empty by the sixth race and many went to their homes. Is this racing or managed racing ?????? Last two races were managed in a way, so that the racing public does not loose total faith and again comes back next week to be looted again.

Instead of we punters supporting each other to see that horse racing becomes a little more fairer and run on merits, all here are targeting M M. It's not fair when one points to the wrongful act's going on at this centre. He in advance even wrote about messages in whatsup.

Variables coming into play regarding bodyweights will be known just minutes before one takes a call on the horse to be played.
So the question of posting picks before the race on any racing sites is just not feasible.
Posting why Denny crane was better for your reference,this information was available to all racegoers even before the race.
You cant be more stupid than to wait for someone to post their tips.Regards

I am talking about the first five races that gave us Fluke Winners.
It is sad all are interested in talking about Captain Courage, that horse I did not fancied (read my title thread of that particular race). People are writing with there on agenda and "taking names" as per their nurturing. I am also a hard hitter on critics, however most of my hard comments are edited time and again before publishing because I was a chronic offender earlier. Sometime I feel ashamed some gentlemen get free license to write anything here and the Admin overlook them. I know how to change their 'shape' if I come across such people in life.

I wonder why people are not talking about Races 1, 2, 3, and 5 ...? Five races in a row...? Do anyone remember such things happened in any race club in India in the nearest past?

This thread is opened for the sole purpose of reminding people what I said earlier. To escape from GST pressure, what is expected from the Race Clubs? Read the title thread. I prophesied the Clubs may give a FREE HAND to each and every trainers and owners. Henceforth the trainers can eat their favourites/fancied runners. It is because of the high cut of tax, if the favourites win, the dividends shall be peanuts. So betterment for the racing and racing public it is the duty of the Clubs to ensure Flukes Win at majority of times. That is what happened yesterday? This is going to continue for ever. Not only at BTC .. everywhere. The guys hoping the picture will be different at HRC or RCTC, beware, you all are going to face similar situation every where from hereon. To continue or not to continue in racing/gambling it is your choice.

Its just the right kind of result Pesi wanted the clever ploy was ...to put trevor on the losing horse ....if jockeys were reversed ...odds , punters betting would have reversed .........clever old trick played here!

I am also mad like Max as I lost backing Multitude . I do also say shamelessly that Danny Crane was a secret fancy but had no guts to play the same thinking 'not today'. I do not blame the trainer or the Club or anyone for the upset. Upsets are a part of racing and one should take it in manly fashion.

It is ususal at BTC flukes happen. BTC is the no.1 worst racing centre.

Be Brave to fancy any horse and punters please dont look at the odds and hesitate not to play. Just go for it if u like any horse.

Denny crane was a prepared horse by recent tracks with manifold.

Do not know next when an another horse is given track with manifold and goes board out.

Be Brave and have confidence to play what u like.

I am a strong follower of your topics/your views in horsetalk. I agree with most of your points which are fully valid. But there are some points I disagree.( please dont interpret that I am Challenging you.. no...no not at all )
Regarding horses winning at longer odds... just the previous day ( 1st July ) if you see the results.. except the 1st race.. all other races were won by favorites.. even the last race.. the favourite was clearly neg and it was the well backed 2nd favorite which won the race at the odds of 4.5. On saturday none of the fluke horses were willing to challenge the supremacy of the favourites.. they were coming at a safe distance of at least 5 lenghts ++ behind the likely winners.. even the 2nd placed horses in these races were clear 2nd favorites only!!!!
These things ... I mean one day favorites winning and next day flukes winning is a part and parcel of the game isnt it? ( No doubt it is happening too often for the inconivinience of the punter)
Our tragedy is majority of the punters become too defensive ( it includes me also )when we feel that the odds dont suit the genuineness of the horse... like for eg. I think You( or someone else) had clearly quoted the Anacapri should run at around 40 Paise right ?.. But when we see that a BookMaker is offering 1.5 or 1.6, we naturally start thinking.. Dhal me kuch kaala hai..????.. Either we tend to reduce our bets to minimum or may be even zero ( what I am talking is most of the punters ) It is exactly here we get caught and are not able to make a sizeable packet. we dont mind playing big on captain courage to recover our losses when we are in minus( eventhough it is a doubtful bet compared to the race where Anacapri ran as favorite with better chances )Another eg I can give you is Shaman.. when the odds start drifting from initial 60 paise to closing 90 paise how mwny of us have the courage to make a big bet ? Obviously here it is the so called smart bookmakers who are making mistakes by eating these genuine horses( at wrong price )and ending up with minus.. but the same bookmakers next day when they get 1 such day ( like 2nd July ) one outsider winning can vipe out their losses of previous day. The subsequent races where all outsiders won ( till last 2 races )were just lottery for them. We punters will never get such lotteries any day. I feel this is the only big difference between bookmakers and punters.( and the rason for them to survive and we losing our pants most of the times )
Regarding Danny crane... I dont deny that these days Dhoni of Indian racing is doing this doosra act too often for punters comfort. Even the leading Turf Baron did nicely several times ( incuding in classics ) in his own way. ( Initially The same Turf Baron was a totally puters delight.. like Any of his horses getting backed and the price coming down was a sure shot winner. In the later stages of his carrier few years prior to his death, he was never a punter friendly person. Our Dhoni also is turning out to be an enigma..when to follow and when not to follow...is really a big ??? Yes regarding danny crane's preformance in Ooty.. it is difficult to judge the capabalities of any horse as per it's ooty runs.. because of the topsy turvy course which dont suit many good horses and another factoris the climate which may or may not a particular horse. Now on the face of it.. if we see.. there was a sure fall in the level of performance of Danny crane around sprinters cup time ( Invitationcup I mean ) .. compared to its victories in Mumbai one after another. After the run in sprinters cup, followed by poor performance in Ooty...??? Only Dhoni will be in a position to explain whether the ooty runs were genuinely fake or the horse has totally lost form. So in this situation what any punter can do? Now after this run and win it is very easy for anyone to say that the horse has real class ( permanent ).. only form ( or lack of it ) was temporary .. hence horse won!!! Dr.Bashaar

Mr.Mad Max what's your point here. Check bangalore dividends. Hwo many horses paid Rs.10 for place even if they were favourite. People were scared that this will happen. Are you saying that no outsiders should win. Or the trainers look at the scree and see their horse in not in the first four so give instructions to jockey's don't come anywhere. Regarding Denny Crane are you saying a horse whihc has already had three runs and has come to Bangalore for a big raceshould have run for the sake of running because Shroff has another horse. Last run 2.5 lengths behind the winner. Captain Courage ran after 10 months with fitness issues. Finally one punter passed the JP of over 10 lakhs yesterday. Can you ask yourself how. Let's use our brains to pick a horse if we cannot skip the race. The odds are a clue when the bookies gives odds for 8 or 9 runers in a race. You know very well none of these horses are going to win.

C.C. was a totally unfit horse made to run. Danny crane last run finished way behind in the same distance today gets wings.

There seems to be no control on racing in BNG most punters are fed up and waiting for cal and hyd.

Why you people (not taking anyone's name) exposing yourselves after the race. Just check PTR Contestants on Sunday and also Regular Selections thread to find only one Sanjiv Shinde tipped Danny Crane in Indiarace. Now you all are justifying Danny Crane whereas you all fancied some other horse in this race.

For your record just check and find where Danny Crane finished in Ooty races against average horses, such horses returning to form all of a sudden (unfancied) is unjustifiable. Where Danny Crane finished in Sprinters Cup vis a vis Multitude's 4th without whip.

You people are justifying Pesi's Doosara and thereby you are encouraging the culprit to do his doosara and theesara again and again, instead of condemning such trainers. Danny Crane simply took a smart jump travelled less distance all the way along rails till the winning post. This was well planned gamble duly executed with precision by Chenoy. Remember Rajkumar's dialogue to another Chenoy : Glasshouse mein rahnewale doosaro ko patthar nahin phenka karthe.

GST Effect - In simple words Horseracing definition "Loot 95% race goers and make 5% of them Lakhpathis". In a single day 95% punters emptied their pockets. It is not gambling, it is near perfect daylight robbery executed by the Race Club in connivance with the trainers and owners.

It's difficult because of the habit's and addictiveness of the sport. But, definitely, the punters are not going to throw thousands or play heavy,as before, after this day-light robbery.

Planned, setting's, made-up racing have taken over,the intention of looting the racing public's money. One has to just watch the riding of top jockey's to understand that they have been instructed to not go forward, but ride backwards.

Right from the Chairmen, the Stewards, officials, the owner's, trainers and not forgetting the great jockey's are involved in this wrong deeds and act's.

Shameless officials, and the rich owners to get into this deceitful act.

Is this the only way they planned to re-coup the club's losses ?????
