I had also seen your comments in respect to Oasis Breeze, which I thought was quite in order, yet I chose to overlook it?

In hindsight...I guess, it was plain 'overconfidence'.

Frankly, I had been expecting a helluva improvement after her debut run, 5th to MINIVER ROSE, who I consider to be a classy youngster.

Since then, she has also been consistently & impressively tracked by Suraj.

So I put two and two together and came off......2nd best! Flopped!

Sadly, I couldn't even wager a penny on RAVELNATION @ 8/1 & BARACCHUS @ 6/1, both my winning tips....thanks to Oasis Breeze and my over confidence!

I dont know why so much of controversy is there about Day's Best Bet. What I interpret as Day's Best bet- is just that compared to all other bets ( and or other selections ) this one is a relatively safe bet. It is not necessary that this horse ( Day's Best ) is so outstanding that it will win by 5 lengths +.As far as the safety of the bet is concerned - its a sure shot for place and if you are lucky it can win also.I feel this si what is meant by Day's Best Bet.
If the tipster tells to bet each way ( his Day's Best Bet ) I dont think there is anything wrong in that.It just means if you want to make just 1 bet for the day ( and keep quiet in others ) this is the race where you can get involved.
So, please dont misinterpret and try to put down the tipster.

1st race:florencia is showing some form,with an apprentice in saddle should run a good race.
2nd race:no idea why Oasis breeze is in the stables of Loknath Gowda,so I will ignore Oasis breeze.multiple is prepared well for a winning debut, should be able to hold as time goes by.
3rd race:if one choose to ignore bonfire's run in fabulous race, bonfire has usually done well in this distance and can easily place having come down a lot in handicap.el fenix is the horse all have to beat.
4th race:speed hawk each way.
5th race: Grecian light has a weak set to conquer, should win.
6th race:proudprince has a good saddle support this time, should be in the fighting line.
7th race:raw gold should be able to lift this race.

Good bets: Multiple,Grecian light & Raw gold.
Each way bets:proud prince & speed hawk.
Upsets:florencia & bon fire.

For a change, I'd like to post my observations in a different way; I'll post the ratings I've derived as against the existing ratings, and I'd be doing that only for ones that I fancy, chances are that there might not be any calculations for some, including favorites as they probably don't fit in my scheme of things. Let's see how this goes.

No doubt my rating for Roaring Thunder works out the best, the only thing against is the fact that it is based on a run about 7 mths ago, however, none of the subsequent runs were proper runs with the horse having met with interference for most of those races. A good place bet for sure.

Racing Fire comes across as an outstanding bet.

Cant really figure this one out based on ratings, however my choice here is Regal Music considering the fact that the handicapper penalized him an additional penalty of 1kg in spite of penalizing 7kgs for the margin of victory, which is quite rare in Bangalore. Rating's gone up to 29 from 10.

My studying of the race -

Multiple - A well bred horse but needs this run
Highland wind - mumbai import - needs this run

As per me the race is between As time goes by and Oasis breeze.

As time goes by - Is a lenghth better than Cantabria ( welcome plate - May 13 )

Oasis Breeze ended up 9 lenghths behind Maniver rose in its first start in a 1200 mtrs race as per my analysis and after watching the race if it would have been a 1100 mtr afair it would be 5 to 6 lenghts behind maniver rose.

Maniver rose and cantabria are levels ( at full flow ) - in karnataka racehorse association on march 5.

Thus As time goes by being a lenghth better than cantabria and cantabria being level with Maniver rose - As time goes by is 5 lenghths better than oasis breeze

Ater looking at their videoes and complete analysis ( both front running hoses ) - thus my bet for today would be As time goes by win ( hedge a bit with shp ) - without glancing at any other races.( my race of the day )

The underfoot condtions can upset all calculation but thats racing.

When a horse is nominated as *Days best* it shows a punters confidence in it. And also suggesting to play *Each way* is ridiculous. It exposes his lack of confidence in himself and his selection and lack of knowdlege of racing.
Such a horse should never be nominated as days best.Having nominated a horse as days best ,just stick to it as100% winner .It may lose badly is another issue.After all it's an Animal!!!!!!It has its own pains . Could even be a head ache!! Has any vet doc identified? it??????

Don't be "always" a 20/1 odd searcher like others.

If the days best horse wins or ends up in gate itself is oddities of racing.

As to academic education to be in racing is laughable.90% jockpot winners are uneducated lot.
If a person knows 1 to 10 and A to Z it's more than enough.

I don't play favourites and I am not a fool to see the days best predicted in the race books and fancy.

What happened to the bank of england is no where now- Be safe

I know the horse which is winning more than 20 odds but in my 30 years of racing I never played with bookies. They are only 20 to 25 at any centre and they win and many lost crores . It's an intelegence game not for uneducated and fools

A man who has proved time and again that a 20 to 1 shot in a week or month is always better in profit than giving consecutive five favorites. Thats why Iam in 2nd position in PTR contests. It give me immense pleasure to play within my budget to play at longer odds. Iam in no way loose at anytime Iam confident that I always recover my money at one stroke. The question is you pointed that most of the tipsters are misleading by giving wrong choices eg.Reference ,Namid etc. What happened to Appache.

2.30 #6 CELTIC MIST was good again last time. Up in grade and blinkers on can help extract further improvement.
#2 PARADISO has been little disappointing of late but if found best would be in finish. Don't ignore.

3.00 Expect #9 OASIS BREEZE to improve here, she is bred for speed and may be best suited to take a sit early. She will find this infinitely easier than his first-up assignment and looks a rapid improver. Strong fancy in this ordinary set of maidens.

3.30 #4 PEARL CITY has been solid last start back from a spell finishing close second to Anacapri who later won a million. Will relish the rise to her pet distance and Hard to get past with positive switch in saddle.
Keep an eye on #11 RACING FIRE who strips fitter second up back from the spell and threaten the top pick. (Note the rider has opted to ride this horse and not Summer Hill).

4.00 #1 INTEGRATED comes off a nice run when ridden quiet last start back from a spell. Fitter here he should be hard to hold out at this ideal distance with strong rider on board.
If intent is positive #8 SPEED HAWK will give this a shake as he is well placed on handicap against the former ( Rno 74 BNG 2016/17). Don't discount.

4.35 #1 GRECIAN LIGHT takes a step down in grade after running at the higher level since resuming this summer and the class drop can do the trick.

5.10 #9 SATINETTE finally broke through for an overdue win last start. Steps up in class and distance and can repeat the dose.
#6 ALAINA will relish the step up in trip and can upset.

5.45 #3 RAW GOLD effort to place here last start in much better company was very encouraging. Peaks now and gets Suraj on board. Ready to strike.
