Wild Wild Angel-winner over 1400 in the same class,promoted and now reverted to class 4-tipped by media and members here,win cannot be questioned.
Indian Legend-ran third over the distance,found a mention in media selections,did not fare well in this race,its ok
Extremely Dangerous-basically a miler and more,likes to run forward races,ended up in place,fine

All other runners just do not come into reckoning

EXCEPT-this one

Noble Sapphire
winner over the distance,promoted and now running in this class 4 race

How is it no one fancies its chances?-EXCEPT ME
[As is evident on PTR]

Thanks dear,I generally do not boast about my knowledge or selections.On that day I felt elated when not only Noble Saphire but also another fluke I had played on PTR [Duke of Clarence]found a place on board.
I thought I could share my pleasure on HT.
Now a days,I do not attend races on most of the days due to lethargy arising out of entry into old age!!
Anyway, it is good to skip what our friend Sad Sack used to name MY SORE RACES!!

As it always happens with me,I did not go to the race course on that day.Had I gone,I would not have hesitated to make a place bet of normal 2 k regardless of the odds.
I am glad to note that Ms.Anushree had selected the horse and in fact went to the extent of solving the tanala.
I take this opportunity to correct a wrong impression that my post might have given.I have some good respect for writers like Anushree and others who give short\elaborate reasons for their selections.
I only wondered how this runner escaped their notice,that is all there to it.

Right. A very good fluke.

Ms Anushree has given this in her selections. 14/5/2.

Result was 5/2/14. A handy tanala.

Now, the most important question. What was the place odds? Would you like to share details about your bets on this horse?
