Race 2 - My selected race of the day

Amazing safari first run a lenghth behind Sadeek easily makes it head and shoulders Above the rest.

In its second run veered out drastically on jump ( l prashant up ) and thus the only issue is whether it has improved or not.

It has an issue on veering out on its left on jumping out and today its drawn 9 and lord issley is drawn 10..it might jus intfere and bump lord issley but hopefully Anil Bandaal can control it enough to atleast get a place berth ( could even do better )

Thus today my bet is Amazing safari place.( should get ok dividends )

Other than this horse i feel Star guns should have beaten untappable easily in its first start and jockey was not on job thus is a good each way bet but after all condiderations have decided as Amazing Safari - place as my bet of the day

1st Race

1 – Precious script – with this jockey will fund bookies
3 – Synergy dancer – jockey tries for this owner, hence may place at longer odds
4 – Heidrun – tracking well, may place
5 – La piperi – with this jockey might upset
7 – Coffee time – waiting for a coup, winner of a mock race recently with same jockey, if reproduce the run, should win fluently as beaten higher rated horse without using whip
9 – Sazae san – running close races, barring one race, can give fight to Coffee time
11 – As always – may place with this jockey

My choice: (5) La Piperi or (7) Coffee time might upset this race from (1) Precious script

2nd Race

1 – At the top – failed as favorite, last time while finishing third, can recoup for the losses now
3 – Lord Iisley – always on board, may continue to do the same for a place
9 – Power of God – good 4th to Saturn with work jockey, can improve with top jockey and might win
10 – Silvery Grey – running some game races, may be her turn today
12 – Star guns – good 2nd to Untapable, which was comfortably beaten by Silvery grey & Lord Iisley, hence win looks doubtful
13 – Stolen Kiss is sweet – debut run, jockey trier for owner, can upset on debut

My choice: (10) Silvery Grey should win from either (3) Lord Iisley or (1) At the top, note also (13) Stolen kiss is sweet, which can upset on debut

2 – Go Man go – knocking the doors for quite some time, can be its turn now

Here goes My SELECTIONS for MYSURU Races of 11th July’17.


Race 1 Win#1-PRECIOUS SCRIPT
Failed favourite...ran 2nd to Bold Nature. With a positive jockey switch...will win as she likes. No likely threats. Also watch out for Superlite in Rc#3.

MY DAY'S BEST.


Race 2 Win#9-POWER OF GOD
Failed favourite...ran 4th to Saturn in her last start. Impressive track work. With a positive switch in the saddle, is expected to complete jockey(Trevor) / trainer(Feroz Khan) double....along with Precious Script in Rc#1.


Race 3 Win#11-SUPERLITE
Won comfortably over the same trip in her last start; penalised; retains form, should defy the penalty imposed and score an ENCORE.
MICRON YAACOW might follow her home.

NOTE: If Precious Script were to win today in Rc#1...Superlite, in that case, becomes a racing certainty, in my handicap lexicon.


Race 4 Win#11-POINT
Despite interference, ran a good 3rd to JOLFA. On revised handicaps, he comes in better than his erstwhile vanquisher.
Likely challenger here could be TRIPLE CROWN, who was similarly hampered in his previous start. Keep both of them in JP.


Race 5 Win#4-EXCELERATE
Ignore his last run. Otherwise a consistent performer. Shining in the morning trials, is expected to amend in this mediocre company.
The only worthwhile contender in my view, is PHELPS, who should also be included in the JP.


Race 6 Win#9-QUEEN
Between Queen and KIR ROYALE I would prefer the former.
It may be observed that apprentice Md Habib had ridden Queen in her previous essay...now replaced by Trevor. Whereas, Habib has been shifted to ride Kir Royale, who too is shaping up well in the morning trials.
Queen could also be the possible 'treble' for Trevor/F Khan combination.


Race 7 Win#3-TOBIN
Won commandingly over 1200mts in the lower class, promoted; retains form; may score again, considering the fact that apprentice jockey Ryan Ahmed has been once again retained to replicate his earlier noteworthy performance.
