The Okai Okai Okai Plate-feature Event

By Mad Max | 13-Jul-2017
Opening day of the season, no cup or trophy races framed. Being the top class race of the day, The Okai Okai Okai is the feature event, and my two penny on it.

K.Satheesh has entered horses in 6 races and a Good Double is expected. Hence two of his best jockeys mounts - N.S.Rathore and B.Dilip - to be followed. Nakhat Singh Rathore (N.S.Rathore) has avoided his shortened name and from henceforth he will be known as NAKHAT SINGH, hope new presentation bring him luck with King of Pop.

1. Alameda: Not a sprinter, ignored
2. Red Ramble: long distance horse, ignored
3. KING OF POP: Terrific initial speed, best credentials, even though not in
track, regular in swimming pool.
4. Western Wind: Running first time over 1100, distance & timing not suits.
4. Net Champ: Not a Sprinter, not in track, regular in swimming, ignored
5. ASHWA RAFTAR: Good initial speed, not in track or swimming pool, best draw,
Allowance in-form jockey, a contender.
6. City of Wonders: This jockey may not go against Ashwa Raftar
7. Precosa: Clearly Ashwa Raftar better on handicap vis a vis: R.No. 276
9. Commanding Boy: No hoper
10. Rubyonrails: Ran in inferior companies, negative shoeing, ignored.
11. VALLEE SECRET: Speedy track trials, may finish in place.

FINAL CHOICE:
KING OF POP-WIN,
ASHWA RAFTAR-2ND
VALLE SECRET-PLACE

@ RAGAVAN, MAD MAX, AND OTHER FRIENDS.

EACH RACE COLLECTION ITSELF CROSSES MORE THAN 70 K. INCLUDING ALL POOOLS. PLEASE BE IN MIND THAT OUR HYD PUNTERS ARE ALWAYS MORE AGGRESSIVE IN PLAYING JP. THAT IS THE REASON WHY HYD JP RARELY CARRIED OVERS.

ALL THE BEST FOR TOMORROW

@ Mad Max,

HYD is only 5/- ticket. (visit hydraces, select betting, tote).

Hyd is no-1 center as far as collections in jp & forecast. Even without combined betting, the sales at HYD will be much higher than what it is at BNG, though at BNG there is cjpp.

CONGRATULATIONS . IN HYD THE JP IS RS 5 ONLY. NOT ONLY JP ANY TOTE TICKET FOR RS 5 ONLY. MYSELF MISSED 9 IN THE THIRD LEG BUT ONE OF MY HORSE 13 IN THE SAME LEG LOST BY A WHISKER. ITS ALL IN THE GAME.

ALL THE BEST IN THE COMING DERBY WEEK END

@ Raghavan
Yes, the ongoing Financial Year is 2017-18, Assessment year is 2018-19, so several months left. Around the Tote Manager's office (in the first enclosure) some people are working in syndicate in tandem with the officials who grab the winning tickets from the punters. If we file the returns we will get Rs 3000 (the TDS deducted on exempted amount of Rs.10000), these people (bookies also involved) give 1000 to 1500 extra to punters over and above the Net Dividend, and a majority of punters accept the cash and handover the Winning tickets to them. This way they make their black money white. Punters keep the mentality who will wait and file the returns, unnecessarily pay the CAs, so whatever extra gets, they collect and close the chapter.

@Mad Max,

Right. Keep it up.

I think any refund in respect of this ticket can be claimed only after 1-04-2018.

Regarding your query, the close finish was displayed. It seems no-4 just managed to put the nose ahead of no-9 at the most important moment.

This time, No Problems with refund for Max as he is well-versed with the system, but may be would have to wait till end of the financial year.

You are absolutely right. After the 8th race I left RC and I was sitting in my office and watching live streaming. I said in earlier note (57057 - 60 = 56997 *30 = 17099 = Net 39898 Received) means I got JP for so and so amount, but I have not "encashed" the ticket. Ticket is still with me. I will encash it on Saturday. Your calculation is correct. The TDS will be deducted from Gross Dividend. Thank you for correcting.

57057 minus 17099 = 39958.

@ Hi all !

My JP tickets today:
1st leg: 9 Banker (Won)
2nd leg: 2,5,10 (5 won, 10 Half length behind)
3rd leg: 1,3,4,5,6,7,9,11 (9 won paid Rs.126)
4th leg: 3 Banker (Won)
5th leg: 2,3,4,9,10,12 (4 won, 9 Short Head behind - I thought No.9 won?)

70% Paid Rs. 43,179 (BTC)
30% Paid Rs. 2,313 x 6 T = 13,878
Total JP: 43,179 + 13,878 = 57,057/-
At BTC they will exempt Rs. 60
57057 - 60 = 56997 *30 = 17099 = Net 39898 Received.

I have got it with all your best wishes. Thank you to all !

Note: Jackpot paid at Hyderabad: 35695 & 1947
(Can someone enlighten me whether it is against Rs 5 ticket or Rs 10 ticket??)

Regarding failure of "Ashwa Raftar & Vallee Secret"
>> Normally I wont count if the body weight increased. Sometime we can ignore an increase of by 15 Kg. Here Ashwa Raftar increased by 27 kg and Vallee Secret by 28 Kg. Probably these two horses were under water therapy before the race. Don't ignore these two, they can win in their own class with less body weight.

Thank you to all for reading and following my 'bakwas' comments.
