Stay in Paradise area. Many decent hotels and best restaurants.All within 200 metres from Paradise hotel, which is 15 mts auto jouney from Secunderabad Rly stn and 30 mts auto from Kacheguda Rly stn. Busy area.All in your budget.Old city lodges are not recommended.

Flight, train or many a/c buses, as per your choice.

Race course within 6 to 7 kms from paradise, below 40 minutes either in auto / car travel. Auto one way approx Rs 130 or less and car approx could be Rs 225/-. Plenty available.

Most of the bookies accept 12% half tax, if above Rs 2000/- bet.

Birla Mandir, Charminar (2 to 3 kms from race course)also bangles shopping there, Ramoji film studio (best spot), but very far off, about 1 1/2 hours journey each way, but worth visiting. Zoo, Golkonda forts (can skip), high tech city and few parks. Salar jung museum is worth visiting, which is near Charminar.Hope all this helps you.
