8 – Sir Legend – good in tracks, may try with this jockey

10 – Bejois – maiden after 26runs, ran very close to the winner in last outing, now at these weights good upset chance

1 – Eternal gift – tracking impressively, can upset with this jockey
3 – Delta Force – may try start to finish with stable jockey, good chance
4 – Dublin – runs with upsetting chance
5 – Roi’s cruise – speedy, with this rookie might try start to finish, can upset
6 – Symbol of glory – with season run benefit, can place at longer odds
7 – Sprint Legend – very speedy, a win due for long, may be today
9 – Dolce – another speedy horse, can place if tried

My choice: (3) Delta Force each way & small upset chance on (7) Sprint Legend

1 – Limitation – last start winner, may try again with stable jockey
2 – Top contender – runs with upsetting chance with this rookie

1 – King David – good 4th to Magical skill in last run, runs with good chance now
3 – Supurinto – Speedy can upset with this jockey
4 – Composure – running some game races, with this jockey in with a chance
5 – In Command – maiden after 37runs, one for the jp hunters
8 – Shaandaar – last start winner, can add one more
9 – Wild at heart – good third at identical distance in last start, with a bright chance now
13 – Princess – another maiden after 14 runs, speedy can upset with this jockey

My Choice: (4) Composure each way & (1) King David each way

7th Race

1 – Big Flash – impressive winner with jockey repeating, can do it again
2 – Manoveg – good third to without makeup, tracking good, will be in contention
4 – Ambitious approach – on a hatrick from last season, can do it if jockey handles it well
5 – Amazing Venus – very speedy and ran in higher class, good chance with this jockey in this lower class
7 – Scooby dooby do – runs with an upsetting chance
8 – Gangadhar – with season run benefit, can surprise
9 – Queen to rule – always tries at longer odds

My choice: Looks quite open (2) Manoveg or (5) Amazing venus can make it, also note (8) Gangadhar for upset

8th Race

1 – Patron Saint – on class demotion, with this jockey runs with good chance
3 – Vijays Wonder – runs with upsetting chance
4 – Gorgeous Lady – tracking well, can upset
5 – Pallisades park – a win due for long, may be today
7 – Shakesphere – maiden after 9 runs, can try it on start to finish for upset
12 – Mastaani – ran nowhere in winter runs, can gets wings today for grand upset

Here are My SELECTIONS for HYDERABAD Monsoon Races of 21st July’17--Day-3


Race 1 Win#3-MOON WALKER
Ramu's horse with a change of shoe(S to A) and a positive jockey switch are strong indicators that MW would be in full cry tomorrow!
Enough to send the rest of the contenders retreating into a shell!
Will not lose...bang it!

Race 2 Win#8-ET VOICI
Tracking impressively with the assigned rider (Hannam). Expected to make a winning debut a la Newport today.
CITY OF SAILS may not allow Et Voici to sail through quite easily though.


Race 3 Win#9-ANS ANS ANS
Ran 2nd to in-form Sea Castle over 1400mts in the higher class, tracking well in the latest trials, should win in this batch with an apprentice (3.5Kg) astride.


Race 4 Win#3-DELTA FORCE
Demoted inspite of placing a decent 3rd to Dandy Girl. Since then, has been showing out in the morning trials. With Akshay deputed to do the honours, will go all out to secure a double for his master (Sateesh) along with Moon Walker (Rc#1) being their first leg.


Race 5 Win#1-LIMITATION
Will Limitation be Ramu/Akshay/Sateesh treble for the day? Today it was Deshmukh who stole the limelight with a quadruple of winners.
Limitation however, has it in him to go start to finish (last start victory was a proof of his mettle) although promoted for that decisive win.
The one who can manage to upstage him in this elusive quest could be PROSPERO.
Include both in the JP pool.


Race 6 Win#1-KING DAVID
Bumped...negotiating the final bend in his last essay and yet finished a good 4th. Jockey had also been fined on that ocassion for excessive and improper use of whip. Having been demoted after that run, likely to make amends here.
SAMBA, a demotee as well, could however challenge the King's supremacy.
Although, the 1100 metre scurry may not be Samba's forte..needs more distance.


Race 7 Win#4-AMBITIOUS APPROACH
Vying for the elusive hat trick....may achieve one quite easily in this mediore company! Consider his last run, won by 6 yawning lengths, yet had returned back lame! That was exactly 5 months ago. Retains winter form as evident in track trials. Need I say anything more in his support?

Race 8 Win#4-GORGEOUS LADY
If Ambitious Approach were to win in the previous race, you can bet your bottom rupee, that the Lady will not get beat in this class. GL had run second to Ambitious approach in the higher category, in her last start.
