I said minimum investment per day should be hiked. The co ordinators said not necessary. Let us accept that decision.

Wonder where and how you guys find all the time in the world to engage in this kind of a contest, after spending so much time in real-time racing! Are all of you - or at least most of you - full-time punters, having no other job (that includes retired persons)?

We can declare the Pune PTR open latest by tomorrow morning as the first racing day is day after tomorrow (27th July 2017).

We can have the same rules as for the current Bangalore season PTR.

I`ll offer two copies of my book ``INTELLIGENT FIELD``, one each to the Winner and Runner up.

There will be a small PTR contest for the PUNE DERBY RACE and a copy of ``INTELLIGENT FIELD `` will go the winner. Details of the contest will be provided about a week before the Pune Derby.

I am happy to inform all my HT Friends that some famous personalities are currently reading `Intelligent Field`, such as `Warren Buffet`, `Ravi Shankar Prasad`, `Nandan Nilekani` and of course Prof M.S. SWAMINATHAN who was the Architect of India`s Green Revolution, and who in fact has written the FOREWORD` for the book.

Another point is that there must be a reasonable coordination of Minimum number of days of Participation and Minimum investment for a day.Mr.Raghavan pointed out how,as of present,a participant can comply with the Rules now and still have a appreciable balance left in his account at the end of the contest.This is a very valid point.Hope you will give thought to the same and frame the rules accordingly this time for Pune.

I hope we will continue with the same guidelines for Pune PTR too, only thing that we don't allow late comers even with penalty points, once they are late for posting then it is treated as void and not counted as participating. In any competition punctuality is important, I can also give 1000 excuses after delayed posting, but be sportive enough to rules and regulations and from day 1 onwards those who didn't post the name of the horse will not be considered at all (i.e both post is treated as void and no participation).

Hope all our horsetalkers have a very good Pune season and those who are not excelled in PTR Bangalore have their turn and get back to form in PTR Pune along with the present leaders to have an interesting fight (only in PTR) for the crown

This PTR is really a good idea to improve and have a competitive spirit. I would like to personally appreciate all the participants and the management team.

In particular, I would like to thank the team who is managing the tables, calculations etc as it is a laborious work.


If the team permit me, I would like to be in Pune PTR.

only suggestion if u can allow race to race with a time limit of 15 min before race .

As after looking the condition of the horse you can put your point as we do bet at last moment on condition of the horse and fitness.

and also allow to delete previously given will be more intersting as now phone are allowed and everybody carries their cell phone to make any changes.

As promised to you all and as posted by me in earlier threads , Rakesh Menon joined us this week in coordination thereby reducing considerable Workload on LIBERO...

This is as planned by us much earlier while this PTR contest was in planning stage and we are in track absolutely as far the management of the contest is concerned... Thanks Libero and Rakesh ...Bulls eye it is ....

The above compilation brings to us the TOP-5 in the contest and as GG said ...the competition is now on FIRE...Predicting who's who at the end of the contest now itself, shall be beyond one's imagination ... The quality of this "THE PTR" Contest is absolutely in tandem with the three R's designed exclusively for this contest.


All we can say is ATB to each and everyone in the contest , about 8 race days or so to go for this contest to complete, any laxity shown at this stage by any contestant will be a doomsday for him after putting so much of effort and hardwork in the contest.

A) Option is to run like Bangalore PTR , but there shall not be any prizes or rewards committment from us.. Please let us know your individual interest.

B) Shri Sagar Ji has some plans for Pune Classics and it is not right on my part to discuss anything on this at the moment without his approvals and consent. In any case you will all come to know very shortly on these developments.

C) As far as this THE PTR is concerned , we are ready with all the Prizes and committments and if we are short in anything then it is absolutely on the Prize distribution function which we are planning to Organise at Hyderabad on or after 29th of August, 2017. Those who are willing to come forward with your contributions , you may please contact @ ADMIN and they shall guide you to reach us. We look forward to your earnest support on this specific bottleneck which we have right now.....

We are ready with the trophy, the Winners and runners up Merchandise which we have promised and the Books from Sagar saab.
