3.00 Bad race
#5 MULHOLLAND can earn his maiden bracket in this weak set.
#7 BLUE SONIC may improve with blinkers added for the first time and 4kg claim helps.
3.30 With a nice educative run in a better company on debut #4 ALBERETTA can shed her maiden tag.
4.00 Ignore his last run in colts championship #1 APACHE SUNRISE can bounce back in this field despite conceding weight. He is the only track and distance winner in this set.
4.30 #3 CHAMPAGNE showed good improvement to finish close this track last start. She looks suited by the step up in distance and is the one to beat.
5.00 #4 DR. LOGAN won his maiden very impressively and can defy penalty on his handicap debut. Strong fancy.
5.30 #5 ALAINA missed the start last outing when supported, the blinkers may help and if she gets away will be hard to hold out.
#8 NINON is a consistent type and sure to be prominent for a long way from the good draw. Back in distance ideal. Don't ignore.

1 - 4 Mystical Shadow for upset
2 - 6 Top Brass / 7 Blue Sonic
3 - 4 Alberetta / 6 Sedulous
4 - 5 Romantic star looks unbeatable on paper, but 4 Eternally can upset if tried
5 - 3 Champagne may get first winner for trainer this season, also note (2) Sea Fairey for huge upset
6 - looks a bit tough race, hope (2) Flirting eyes place at longer odds
7 - 4 Super Smart each way / 6 Erdemir upset

Race 2 you have 2 Delhi based horses. if they try and fix the longer odds [which normally happens there] one some one will win and beat them to it.
Race 6 for me it is Pinyada an each way bet .well prepared with A 1600 mtrs work out. Bottom w.t an each way bet.

Note: I have already put my opinions on this race in DrCheenu's thread. However, I want to add few things more. Kambaku ran in Terms race last time out, which is considered one class up, whereas Ultimate Magic now running on promotion after a facile victory in Class-IV carrying almost same weight as of today. Whereas Kambaku has not proved he is a weight carrier so far, running first time 60 kgs. Win Legend progenies are normally weight carriers, hence my first choice is Kambaku. The manner in which Dr.Logan and Pinyada are fancied, most probably the bookies are misleading.

COURTSHIP & vastly improved NINON will fight it out. For me it looks like COURTSHIP first followed by NINON.

Race 1 Win#-5-ONE TO NOTE
Don't be put off by the once-in-a-blue-moon jockey, Vishwanath, deputed to ride him. Mind you, its only to get decent price! His last run was too good to miss!
Besides, he has already had the measure of both GRANADA & AFTER HOURS (Rc#131)
Should he repeat that performance...he would be home and dry!
Race 2 Win#1-BLACK SWAN
Ran 4th to Queen of Good Times over the same trip in the higher class; tracking excellently; should call the shots in this mediocre set.
MY DAY'S BEST
Race 3 Win#2-HABANERO
3rd to Romantic Star in an earlier race, has only to beat ATHENA to come up trumps. Include both in JP
LAY: ALBERETTA
Race 4 Win#5-ROMANTIC STAR
Just a stroll in the park! DON'T BET on APACHE SUNRISE for SHP.
Race 5 Win#7-AYRTON
Ayrton had planted last time out and lost many lengths at the start, yet had managed to finish a creditable 6th. Has been subsequently tuned up in 2 mock races, one of which on 30/7, he was a winner! On the basis of that performance, I expect him to put his best foot forward. SPEED HAWK with rookie Gowda, and CHAMPAGNE with Sandesh up, shape as his main challengers.
LAY: RAFA
Race 6 Win#7-SECRET PURSUIT
Ignore her last pursuit, where due to saddle slippage and jockey Indra(who??) had finished a bad last! With Trevor given the charge, trainer Paddy obviously means business....perhaps, a double with Into The Spotlight, in 7th and last race. Tracking well, should oblige in this modest company.
Has to be wary of ULTIMATE MAGIC & PINYADA.
Race 7 Win#7-INTO THE SPOTLIGHT.
A Derby runner in Mysore & Madras has not quite lived up to its name, so far.
However, attractive morning gallops indicates his readiness to strike.
NINON is the one that may spoil his dreams of returning to limelight.

Hi All,
1-5 ONE TO NOTE - Very little to choose between OTN and Granada. Ran well to beat Granada and After Hours for the 2nd spot. Is Vishwanath good enough?? or else TS Jodha. Check the horse in the ring as well.
2-1 BLACK SWAN - Ran well last time to finish 4th in 30-50, Tracking impressively, now in 15-35 class. Should beat them all.
3-5 ATHENA - Two 2nd in her carrier, knocking at the door + Multidimensional. Alberetta had just one run in a better company. I give slight preference to Athena.
4-1 APACHE SUNRISE - First run this season was Colts Championship. It was a decent effort to finish 7th. Should come up with that run and has to beat the filly Romantic Star who was 2nd in Fillies. RS is better off in weights. But Colt is a Colt. Should beat her.
5-3 CHAMPAGNE - Ran a good 4th over 1200m 1:12:20, Now with couple of runs in Bangalore, should be able to win handsomely. Tracking impressively. One of the best bet of the day.
6-1 KAMBAKU - Is by Win Legend, Ran well with VShinde in the saddle, SJohn in the saddle is for sure + extra 200m will be to its liking. Kambaku beat Ultimate Magic before. Pinyada will come close for SHP.
7-1 VICE ADMIRAL - Ran from 14 draw with an apprentice from almost last to finish a close 6th. 1:25:83. Now carrying a top weight and a class down and A Sandesh in the saddle, bound to go better. 3 Courtship will follow. SHP/Place.
