Dear ALL Contestants,


A Grand Welcome to you all on behalf of TEAM "THE PTR" Contests !!!!!!!!!!


This is in continuation to the note of Mr S Kumar and topic/query posted by Mr Libero and the subsequent replies from you all. In all there were about 17 replies from the contestants regarding the Applicability of Entries from the contestants who have posted late and beyond the cut-off time.

Let me ,on behalf of the Judges panel take you all through the various decisions taken by us for the issues raised therein.


A) 10 Day Capping on Investment of 1.00 lac/per contestant :-

Keeping the Sporting environment of the contest, the Enthusiasm and overwhelming support from one and all ,

It is Resolved that ;

" There shall be no capping at all for any contestant from the next Race/Contest day which 01-07-2017" ...Resolution put before us is hereby passed with adequate Quorum in the Judges Panel"

Rationale behind our Judgement :-

A) Huge uncertainities prevailing in the Contest Days.
B) Rains and Natural Calamities Prevailing at Bangalore
C) Not many have missed in the contest to complete the 10 day process in the contest
D) Uphold and Maintain , the Ongoing Good sporting environment in the contest.

With the above Resolution being passed by us in the Judges Panel, we now recommend the same for immediate implementation from the Next Contest Day Onwards.




B) Late and Delayed Postings :-

We have heard and seen the 17 replies from the concerned Thread in addition to our telephonic Conversation with the Coordination units before we formed our concrete opinion on this matter.

Resolution Passed :-

" IT is Resolved that postings of all the contestants who have posted beyond the cut off time of 30 minutes before the commencement of First Race as mentioned in the Race card of that contest Day be taken as Valid and official SUBJECT TO a charge of 10000 NNP's per contestant" as Penalty".

Resolution Does Not apply to :-

1) All Contestants who have posted with a delay of more than 30 Minutes after the Cut off time.
Such entries should be treated as NULL and VOID.

2) The respective Contestant's entries to be posted from the Next Contest Day i.e. 01-07-2017 onwards.

Resolution APPLIES to :-

1) All contestant who have posted within 30 minutes after the cut off time.
2) This is one time Waiver in the Contest.

The Decision has been arrived keeping in view "To provide all Contestants an equitable chance and opportunity" to display one's skill and caliber in the Contest.

We have also viewed our Observations and Review " Under the Principles of Natural Justice" being available to each of the contestant.


C) All Other Rules, Conditions and Terms described in the original posting of the Contest to you all SHALL remain the same and be Applicable for the remaining period of the contest.


With the above 2 Resolutions , we conclude our Judges reviews and hereby recommend the Coordinators to implement the same starting the Next Contest Day
onwards.


Special Resolution :-

It is Resolved to move a special resolution and is being passed on account of the Death of Mr S Kumar's Mother on the 26th of June 2017.

" The Team Consisting of Judges Panel, The Managing Committee , Coordinators and Its Contestants in the Contest deeply expresses its shock and utter dismay on the tragic death of Mr S Kumar's Mother on this the 26th of June'2017 and pray GOD to give strength to him and his family to bear this loss"

Resolution is moved and Passed.

{"We did convince them on the ground of best Sportsman spirit, Principles of Natural Justice and thus 2 Special Resolutions were passed finally with the Consent of the Judges. The delivery of the word "Respect" to all the contestants was ensured to one and all.

In between the period the notifications issued either by me or Libero Ji shall stand automatically to be as Cancelled and superceded by the resolutions cited above".}.....

Pls check the dates when we requested the Honble RDJ's to give consent to the two special resolutions...Libero's note u posted is of 13th May'2017. In any case the Passing of Resolutions has itself ensured benefits to so many contestants.

I went through your post dated 07 08 2017 throughly and and seek clarification on the following:

1. When the clarification was provided by Libero on 13 05 17 the same was not refuted by Mgt.committee or by Judges pamel

2. What will happen if two extra days are included as every participant is supposed to go through the rules along with amendments/ clarifications and no injustice is done to any one.

3.Though I am not a regular participant in PTR my observation is that there was no cap on daily investment. The change was introduced only this year.

4. The decision not to include extra days was communicated by you and I brought to your notice the clarification provided, the matter should have been placed before the judges .

If I were in your position I would have included extra days instead of letting down my own committee member.

With the above observations I would like to close this matter and there will be no further correspondence from my side.

Greetings to you all from TEAM "THE PTR" Contests !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At the outset let me thank you all for your support to the Bangalore edition of "THE PTR" Contest. Its been great pleasure for all of us at the TEAM PTR to be part of this great success.

ISR, If you remember rightly, there were so many circumstances prevailing in the contest such as , Natural Calamities like rain, Geographical and other issues at this venue and therefore there were so many days we did not see the contest running for many weeks in tandem.

It is at this juncture, we at Team PTR, also felt disappointment alongwith you people as contestants. Nevertheless, we had immense confidence that everything will be ok and as desired by all of us, everything was sorted out but it took some time and in the process we lost few racing days.


It is here that we also felt the urgent need to address few issues concerning the welfare of the contestants and very rightly we have remembered the Theme of this "THE PTR" Contest which is "RECOGNIZE-REWARD-RESPECT" and two sects of contestants emerged out of this thought process which are :-

A) Contestants who are absolutely regular irrespective of the circumstances prevailing and stood by the strict rules of the contests.

B) Contestants who missed the contests because of the above reasons and were not able to fulfill the Minimum 10 day norm for uncapping the investment structure in the contests and the minimum attendance required to be fulfilled by all the contestants.

We had taken up and convened an emergency meeting with our Hon'ble JUDGES (RDJ's) to the contests which was presided by Dharmesh Ji, Dustin Ji, Shri Libero, Shri Rakesh Menon, Shri @ The Doc and Myself for getting the waivers to the above two cited regulations in the contests.

One point which was raised by RDJ's was "ARE WE NOT DOING INJUSTICE TO THE CONTESTANTS WHO ARE REGULAR IRRESPECTIVE OF THE CIRCUMSTANCES AND WHAT ANSWERS WE AS JUDGES SHOULD GIVE TO THEM IF THEY RAISE OBJECTIONS"

The Hon'ble Judges were right and bang-on in their observations.

The second important element in the PTR contest traditionally is that the Extra Days are not considered at all. This is the strong precedent prevailing in the contest right from its birth few years ago.

Thirdly, these extra days even if provided now will do gross injustice to the contestants who have 100 % attendance record and they cannot be subjected to these types of measures as the Contest this time around is more competitive, a high quality battle of intelligence, painstaking efforts of the leaders in the contest as on the last contest day.

with the two relaxations given to most of the contestants is itself a sacrifice done by the regular players in the contest.

Therefore, the EXTRA DAYS proposed on 17th and 18th of this month SHALL NOT BE part of this contest. We are also not keen to break the precedent set in the contest.

This should put to rest all queries and doubts one may have concerning the above subject.

The Contest Last two days shall be 10th the penultimate day and 11th shall be the concluding day.

ISR, I trust you will agree with us and cooperate accordingly.

Regarding the extra days inclusion in the contest the following clarification was given by LIBERO in response to my querry:

1. The year should be from 1-5-2017 to 30-04-2018 as Mumbai season runs in April also.

2.What about special/ extra race days if any?

3. The cut of time for posting once selections may be the starting time of the first race.

Welcome to the contest, as suggested by some of the participants, the contest will run till the end of Mumbai season, and extra days & special race days are also included as and when they happens

cut off time will be 30minutes prior to starting of first race, and not the starting time of first race


IN VIEW OF THE ABOVE CLARIFICATION I REQUEST YOU TO INCLUDE EXTRA DAYS.
