After posting I wanted to make a change for Simon Says who was a recent winner over 1600m.

Sail Past the apprentice did not handle well and Mr Dharmesh rightly said Dibaba has done track well and may win.

Daffodil was good enough to win as only 3yr old in the field, Smasher I thought put on a lot of weight, weighing 537Kg.

Reg. Gods own win , one has take in to consideration previous run than a (race260) run that was in April 17.I always give atmost importance to previous run .
Once I saw Oracle has not run this season and it's track was not so impressive I did not glance at it second time.

My only concern was Heroine. Since it won in Bangalore I did not give much importance to it. A win at Bangalore is always much inferior than at Pune and mumbai. I never ever play Bangalore horses at Pune and mumbai except in classics.

More than anything else I saw the video of God's win several times and it won from draw 14 carrying 59 kg effortlessly by 5 lenths jockey looking back.

With same jockey and @ 55.5 ,same distance all I wanted as it's neck in front this time.
So went after it. Made rich benefit with st Andrews at even and God's own 4/1 played in bracket with my bookie.

Anyhow Success here is highly temporary and txs for your advice.

2.30 #1 TURNING POINT appreciated the rise in distance to break through last time out. Is showing out in morning trials and has impressed in mock. She is the only winner at this distance in the race and on that score alone must be respected.

3.00 Speedy 8yo #1 BRYNHILL had a nice lung opener last time out back from a spell. Drops down in grade and more suitable trip. He won the same trophy last year and merits strong consideration in this company.

3.30 Vastly improved #2 GOD'S OWN showed good speed and penchant for Pune track trouncing her opposition and winning most empathically last start. Further improvement cannot be ruled out and this top rated filly will make a strong bid to repeat.

4.00 #6 LORD OF THE SEA looks a solid stayer in the making and will relish the rise in distance to prove hard to hold out.

4.30 #2 DAFFODIL led all the way to win her maiden at Mumbai last start. Plenty of scope for improvement stepping up in distance and a winning chance again.

5.00 #8 ARASHI had a nice educative run before the spell and with natural improvement can measure up to these.
Top rated #4 GAZINO is resuming, he has been a Maiden for a long time but has run well in much stronger races than this and could show up fresh, watch market.

5.30 #2 DIBABA ran an impressive mock race and can bounce back in the right grade. Has won at this level last year with same rider in saddle.
#4 SAIL PAST is the another demotee who will strip fitter second-up from spell and apprentice claim brings him nicely in in this field. Don't discount.

If they try BRYNHILL, then dont ignore Harvey, he is speediest of the lot, only problem is coming after a lay off.

3 – Massimo – jockey/trainer combination is good, last run was good, very good chance to clear maiden ranks now
4 – We break the Rules – last week jockey was trying for this owner, will be in contention
5 – Sky surfer – jockey in good form this season, last run over 1000mts, extended trip might suit, upset chance
7 – Emotionless – had a run last week and finished nowhere, if improves, might place

My choice: (3) Massimo each way & (5) Sky surfer upset chance

2nd Race
1 – Brynhill – proven customer over this distance and winner of same cup last year, might try again
2 – St. Andrews – why the jockey change when stable jockey is there, might place at best
4 – Harvey – yet to loose at this distance with this jockey, will try to keep that record straight
5 – Valentino – had two runs this season, may be aiming for this, upset chance

My choice: (4) Harvey & trevor might keep the record intact

3rd Race
1 – Oracle – on a hatrick from Mumbai, but change in jockey is confusing
2 – God’s own – impressive winner this season, both jockey/trainer going good this season, bright chance to repeat
4 – Heroine – impressive winner of last run at Bangalore, may need this run here
5 – Next Star – winner over identical distance in last run at Mumbai, with jockey trying for owners in with a chance

My choice: (2) God’s own can repeat the show

4th Race
1 – Vulcan – winner of identical distance earlier, with YSS up, good chance
2 – Sussex Pride – earlier winner at Mumbai at same distance with the jockey, having a run benefit this season, having better chance now
3 – Drogo – on a hatrick with improvement in each run with extended distance, may do the trick
6 – Lord of the sea – last start winner at Mumbai, extended trip may suit, chance with this jockey

My choice: (3) Drogo looks to complete the hatrick, but (2) Sussex Pride with season run benefit can deny that

5th Race
2 – Daffodils – youngest in the bunch, last start winner at 1400mts, extended trip can suit
4 – Aeolus Maximus – though aged compared to others, but can stay the distance, upset chance with jockey
6 – Smasher – may be fancied because of trainer, can clear the maiden, but jockey not in good form
8 – Gregorian chants – don’t know the staying capability, if stays well can upset all
11 – Diablo – with this jockey very good upset chance, one for JP hunters
12 – Kitty Hawk – maiden, if jockey handles well, can clear it today
13 – Finest moment – tracking extremely good, will be in contention
15 – Vitesse – at such feather weights, with a good 4th this season, may be a surprise package

My choice: many contenders, but usually when field is big many a times race time favorite will score, still hoping against it hope either (15) Vitesse or (12) Kitty Hawk scores at longer odds

6th Race
1 – Albaretto – tracking well with same jockey, may run a good race on debut
4 – Gazino – improving with each run, time to score, but jockey not so reliable now a days
8 – Arashi – based on its debut run, can clear maiden easily now, but jockey not in his prime form
9 – Lady Alameda – good 2nd in last run, with this jockey, is the horse to be beaten here

My choice: (9) Lady Alameda each way

7th Race
4 – Sail Past – had good last run, but aged for this group, may place at best
5 – Headlines – jockey in decent form, tracking well, can clear the maidens now
7 – Time of my life – good third this season, with extended distance good chance
10 – Alphonso – upset chance with this jockey

My choice: (5) Headlines can clear the maidens now

We have a group analyzing races called Racing Heads and my friend Krishna Karki (brother of Trainer)has observed that Race 1. horse 4. Trainer has removed Blinkers as mandatory after 3 runs. Easy runs with Better Company, this is the Horse to back with good Odds.
Race 3. Horse 1. stands out as Trainer has entrusted Full Jockey with confidence as Heroine though pulling weight of 5.5kgs beat nothing and even 2nd placed horse came nowhere to Animal King last Thursday. Further, Trainer/father sit on Double from Race2. St. Andrews which should be a good thing.
Have to Respect the Selection. But best of luck!!

In race no. 260 Oracle beaten God's Own by more than 4 lengths (they both today carry same weight and going same distance) how can God's Own reverse the verdict, particularly when God's Own won gets no weight advantages. Now come back to Terms of this races.
