Hi Raj,

I considered that both are 3yr old and will be climbing up the ladder.
Then I looked at the weights of the horse, Wise Child 400Kg and Juggernaut 427Kg. I would have considered if WC was a filly with that weight.

Secondly, Juggernaut is 5kg better off going in higher class, weight advantage is compensating for the upper class.

Please make your own decision.

3 – Highland Princess – place twice at these distance, with this jockey can upset now
4 – Multistar – may be tried because of owners, can place
5 – Lilac Time – at these handicap, can place at longer odds
6 – Bee Quirky – had a forward run this season, now demoted in class, may do a start to finish attempt for upset

My choice: (3) Highland Princess each way & (6) Bee Quirky upset chance

2nd Race
1 – Pugnacious – won with this jockey earlier at same distance, with a run benefit this season, holds good chance
3 – Eternal Sunshine – won with same jockey in last run, but jockey not upto his mark this season
4 – Street Jammer – as per its running pattern, can win now

My choice: both owner mates (4) Street Jammer & (1)Pugnacious will fight it out, former having slight edge

3rd Race
3 – Baby face – can get the distance, with this jockey good chance
4 – Shakin stevens – good 5th earlier this season, can improve, good chance now
5 – Artus – good 4th in last run, can improve
8 – Tower bridge – good 3rd to Mygrator over 1200mts, extended trip may suit, chance

My choice: (4) Shakin stevens each way

4th Race
1 – Phoenix tiger – last start winner over identical distance, runs with a repeat chance now
2 – Mrs. Patmore – always ran well at these distance, chance
3 – Alandair – oldie with still having a good zest for racing, may upset
4 – B fifty two – last start winner over identical distance, with stable jockey might upset
5 – Your Royal Majesty – good 2nd to Accolade this season, in with good chance now
8 – Supreme General – lost form completely, may need this run here
9 – Traherne – completed a hatrick of wins, at these weights can add one more to its kitty

1 – Free Speech – speedy, can upset with this jockey
2 – Minstrel heights – tracking well, speedy, can upset with this jockey
4 – Indian Serenade – last start winner, penalty may be stiff

9 – Wise child – good third this season, can improve and may win now

1 – Elegant beauty – last start winner at Mumbai, runs with good chance to repeat
2 – Vision of Romance – a win long overdue, last win 3 years back, can it win here?
4 – Makino – last start winner this season, can get the extended distance
5 – New England – on a hatrick from last season, tracking well, may do it
6 – Spiridon – good second this season, can improve to win now
7 – Texas Gold – impressive winner in last run, youngest in bunch, can improve to add one more
10 – Judicious – good third this season, now on promotion, may upset

My choice: (7) Texas Gold to fight it out with (6) Spiridon

5 – Glorious thunder – with this jockey, will be in contention
6 – Kinghts quest – upset chance
7 – Mesopotamia – upset chance

3 – Miss Money penny – impressive winner on debut, ignore the later runs, can get back to win again
7 – Adams beginning – impressive winner this season, on promotion, can win again
10 – Excellent Heart – tracking extremely well, can upset based on that

It rained whole night in Pune and its still raining though not heavily.

In 5th race you are over looking two things.Juggarnut is a promotee and it's draw today is 11.
Wise child is tracking 49/36 and Juggernut 52/39 for 800 mts.
One cant back a promotee in Sprint.Its tough.

1-1 GRAPPA - By Dylan Thomas, very little to choose between Grappa and Bee Quirky, But my vote goes to Grappa son of DT and + Sandesh riding.

2-1 PUGNACIOUS - Carbonara beat Pugnacious over 1400m recently, I felt as if Pugnacious was given a run, took wide and then came to finish close, weight diff of 7.5Kgs. Pugnacious will be much better over 1600m. Will reverse the placings.

3-6 DIXIELAND - By Holy Roman Emperor. Just had one run in Jan and coming back after long layoff, still a maiden race and class to win. Baby Face by Sedgefield can challenge.

4-2 MRS PATMORE - By Holy Roman Emperor, consistent in terms races and tracking well. Another 4yr old is Supreme General. I prefer MP. Their are others like Phoenix Tiger, B52, Alaindair,YRM will make this race interesting.

5-8 JUGGERNAUT - Very little to choose between Juggernaut and Wise Child. Both timings 58:83 and 58:79 recently. Juggernaut carried 59Kgs and is going 5kg better whereas WC 53Kg is carrying 1kg extra. Therefore Juggernaut is my DAYS BEST!

6-4 MAKINO - The way he won over 1200m clocking 1:10:38 is unbelievable. I think is one of the best timings this season. Sure to win again.

7-11 BROOKLYN BRIDGE - At the start observed to have jostled in a 16 horse field in the recent run. Was tracking very well. The only 3yr old in this race and Its a good each way chance at longer odds.

8-1 SLAM DUNK - Ran a very close 2nd recently till the post over 1000m 59:43, an extra 200m will suit and has the speed to finish the race before anyone catches.

BEST BETS: GRAPPA - JUGGERNAUT - MAKINO - SLAM DUNK

Last time Baby Face was a failed gamble.

Those who think they will try again, go with it.

Wise Child was pulled for House of Commons, same as above.

Mrs. Patmore should win to justify the purchase of Holy Roman Emperor progeny (Also owner double) !!
